Hi, I'm Arty! Like many of the critters who've watched and loved Avatar since the premiere of the series, I barely got into the fandom in time to squee/ship/whateveritistheinternetdoes through Book Three. I've been lurking around DH and the rest of the internet world for years, but never really joined the fandom scene save for brief excitement bursts at the times of the first two finales, and then a final sort of coming out roughly halfway through Fire. Might've been that second major delay in episodes (AWS DD:!) that finally pulled me out here.
Anyhow, I go on dA, LJ, etc, etc, and just realized that I had never joined Distant Horizons! It's a bit of a shocker. We'll see if I'm able to rid myself of those old lurking habits and get to know you lot personally, but I'm happy to be (out in the open) here and a very happy holidays to everyone.
