Thanks. I've been trying to make it better quality, but I think the original Edward/Bella picture was lower quality than it first appeared, so maybe next project.

@outcastprincess - It's really cute and great for just starting out on photoshop. To add to it I'd desaturate the manga image and allow the other colors to stand out more (including Edwards eyes). Holy cows, I actually won a SOTW contest! *foams* The theme was "Nintendo" so I did a Wii sig. It was actually very simple to make, and I'm surprised I beat some really awesome GFX'ers.

Thanks, RandomPokes. I actually had to color Edward's eyes myself, so I wasn't quite sure how to make them stand out more without looking fake.
Nice Wii sig, by the way.

Ooh, really nice sigs, guys. :3
It's five months since I reinstalled Photoshop and I still don't have enough of anything. D: Does anyone have any favorite brushes, textures, gradients, curves/selective coloring techniques that they could link me to? I'm looking through all the LJ communities, but I know I'll never find all the old ones I had. Thanks. ♥

Through sheer dedication and the help of a friend who's great at photoshop, I managed to create this: Original picture here It still needs some work, but I like the color selection, which was really simple to do.

(¯`·._.·[RP's Not Simple ATLA/Toph Selective Coloring Tutorial]·._.·´¯) Go from to or 1. Crop/resize the image to your liking. -Optional Step- 2. Add a screen layer (or two) only if the image is dark. I didn't need one for this icon, but remember that the selective coloring works best on lighter images. 3. Selective Coloring. At the bottom of the layers window is a tiny black and white circle. After you click on it, select "Selective Color". Enter the following: Red: C : -100 Y : 62 B : 27 Yellow: C : -59 Y : 100 B: 50 Neutrals: C: 48 Y : -11 B : -7 Black: B : 17 4. Press the again. This time select "Hue/Saturation" from the menu. Enter the following: Master : Saturation +30 -Optional Step for Last Icon- 5. Select the now familiar circle (adjustment) button and select "Brightness/Contrast" and enter the following: Brightness : +16 Contrast : +5 There you go! Remember that this is just a guide to help you get familiar with the selective coloring/adjustment menu . If your image doesn't turn out quite right, try something else. Here are a few more icons made using this tutorial with the minor tweaks I used. - Duplicated base and set it to "Screen" at 70% - Changed the Selective Color > Neutral > Yellow -11 to -35 to bring the Blue out more.

There are so many great graphic makers here, that I think we can keep it alive!

If you go on deviantart.com and search for brushes, you will find thousands of them.

HALLELUJAH!
Anyways, I am doing tutorial/psd requests for the next week or so. Just remember if there is anything in photoshop you don't get and would like to know run it by me or any of the others.

okay, this is probably a n00bish question, but then again I am a photoshop n00b.
Anyway, let's say you have a bunch of pictures, and you want to put them all on one background, like say to make a tutorial. How do you do that?
