A STAR WARS/ AVATAR SEASON ANALOGY: Episode 4-A New Hope: Season 1 because Aang was reborn, as was the Jedi. Episode 5-Empire Strikes Back: Season 2 because Azula destroys Aang, and Vader destroys the Jedi. Episode 6-Return of the Jedi: Season 3 because Aang defeats the Fire nation, and Luke destroys the sith. 'Nuff said.

But Luke's not the last Jedi...Leia was strong with the force too...and she became a Jedi in the books that followed the series...along with many others who Luke found. Aang will always be the last Airbender...Mike and Bryan said there were no other Airbenders out there to find... Just thought it fitting to point out here that Aang is now officially not the last Airbender with his son Tenzin, to teach Airbending to Korra, the next Avatar.

Korra (and Tenzin) did not exist (except maybe in the minds of Mike and/or Bryan) when I made that comment...though, Like did have a son...with a woman who tried to kill him when they first met...to be a true parallel, I guess Tenzin's mother would have to be Azula...

^Sure, Nandi, no arguments there. You were pointing out that at the end of the ATLA series by Bryke , Aang was the Last Airbender. My point was that at the end of the series told by George Lucas, Luke Skywalker was the last Jedi. Leia had potential but potential alone does not a Jedi make. Like the Legend of Korra, the Star Wars expanded universe (which Lucas didnt write) isnt part of the original story but an expansion of it. I do like your analogy between Mara and Azula. Ofcourse that would mean that Azula would be killed by Katara's son with Jet. Clouded, this boy's future is. Masked by his youth.

Dear Moderators, please excuse this "double post" but this is something that just occured to me concerning the new series. The new series mainly takes place in a city called "Republlic City" a place full of intrigue. avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Republic_CityMuch of the Star Wars prequels takes place in Republic City on Coruscant. "Welcome to Republic City! As you know from your travel brochures, Republic City, the only city on Coruscant, covers the entire surface of the planet. It is the largest city in the Republic." starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Galactic_CityYet another Star Wars/ Avatar parallel.

In each series, the heroes have companions who provide comic relief, provide a reflection for what's going on and sometimes even get the adventure going. The droids in SW,have some of the best lines. If Appa and Momo could talk the might say things like 'Y'know,it seems like every time they say we're going in the RIGHTdirection something BAD happens! Something...DANGEROUS or'...'Icky?' 'Yes,precisely! Icky!'
