As some of you may be aware of, the Fashiko members (namely, Kyatto) from DH made their own forum to continue their discussions about Fashiko and Avatar. Lately, many of the old members are no longer active due to lack of any development for Fashiko (Zuko hasn't changed clothes in a few months), lack of any new Avatar, and due to disgruntled feelings over the purge, tightening of rules, and revamp the site went through after a member crossed the line, an event which tragically ended with another member being forced to leave the forum.
What is Fashiko? Fashiko is the Zuko/Fashion RPG-ship. We are a fun-loving bunch who have a tendency to role-play and get a little rowdy (don't worry... we restrict that sort of rowdiness to the Dark Closet). Besides contests, fanart, a game board and RPG board, we have recently started a protected board for the diary of the members.
You can reach us here. We are newbie friendly, but we are anti-n00b. We will give people who act like that a chance, but if they don't straighten out... Ban.
The rules are as follows:
Note: Contrary to the beliefs of certain people (you know who you are), it was not because we are a bunch of crying n00bs. By the time we closed our 3rd thread early, the plan for the new forum had already been well underway. The reason behind the move was because some members were pushing the limits of the rules of the site and it was starting to worry the me, as the leader of the group, since I, and none of the other reliable members, had no ability to control the actions of the wild members.
I proposed some rules and we posted them in the front page of the board, but even with those rules I knew in the end, with the members pushing the limits of the rules DH already had and DH making new rules for the Relationship board, that Fashiko was on the way down at DH. It was already becoming less enjoyable due to both the inability of the leaders to control the members and due to the strain between Fashiko and the rules of DH.
In the end, I felt it would be better to simply move out of DH and into more open grounds by choice before DH could force us to close down. (And not long after we left, DH banned all person/trait ships). Unfortunately, some of the members weren't aware of the plan, despite the posts about it in the Fashiko board, until I PMed them, so were very upset and confused about it all. The fault was entirely mine. I should've made sure they were on top of everything and PMed them earlier to explain.
Okay, enough about that. It's old Fashiko history. I hope that made sense.

The rules are as follows:
1) Listen to the staff, they are only here to help. Do not ignore them, if you have been warned.
2) When roleplaying, try to be reasonable and remember to follow the rules of the rest of the forum. Try to keep off-topic discussions down.
3) Keep mature content in the Dark Closet! This forum is for all ages! Mature content includes innuendo, sexual references and content, crude humor, and other material inappropriate for kids under 18. Better yet: keep it under PG-13.
4) Please no useless spam. This includes posts like "^lol", "OMG! ", and "I agree." If you agree with something someone said (or disagree), say why you disagree/agree instead of leaving it at that. And if you're going to comment on something someone did, say what you like/don't like about it.
6) Make sure people can read your posts. Refrain from using netspeak (1337), sTIcKy CaPS, chatspeak (U R kewl), ALL CAPS (RPG is the only place this is allowed). Do not use excessive exclamation marks (!!! MAX) or smilies ( as in: ;D ;D ;D). Re-read your post before posting, and preview before posting. Don't stretch the threads with dragged out words. This is a pain to read.
7) Double posting is a no-no.
8) Respect other people and their opinions. This means no offensive remarks about race, sex/sexual orientation, national origin, religion, or poking fun of members excessively
9) Don't feed the trolls. Anyone who posts something to get a response out of people is a troll.
10) Keep swearing to a minimum.
11) Send a PM to a moderator or administrator if you find someone violating one of these rules.
