No. Not really. No.
If Taang happens, Yay for us.
If not...so what?
If it happens it happens. If it doesn't it's fine. It's not as if we have a personal stake in it.
"Man, I bet my life savings on Taang!"
If it doesn't happen, we've still got our fandom.
No one can take that from you.

Hello! I'm back! The reason I've been missing is because someone posted a link to a Taang Fic with spoilers on it, and I don't wanna be spoiled. And no, I will not watch the eps on the internet. 1) I'm not sure over the legal stuff, and 2) I've got dial-up. 'Nuff said.
But it's nice that people remembered me! ^_^
And Marvel? That stuff... Is so. Cool. You get a Karma!
And as a Welcome back present from me to all of you, I give you a little something I gave to Mumy-Chan: It's the legend of Feng, the Air Spirit-his name means 'Wind'-, and Da Di, the Earth Spirit-her name means either 'Earth' or 'Mother Earth'. I prefer the latter.
Anyhow, I give you this Legend of the Avatarverse! Told in the style of typical legends. ^_^
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Near the begining, but breifly before Tui and La took refuge in the Northern Tribe, when the Spirits still roamed the mortal plane, there was Feng, the Spirit of Air, and Da Di, the Spirit of Earth. Feng, much like the Nomads, enjoyed traveling the world, taking care of his spirit creatures, the Air Bisons, and observing the simple pleasures of nature such as sunsets or meditation. Da Di enjoyed celebrations, sport and rough housing with the badgermoles, which are her spirit creatures.
"In spite of what some may call their differences, Feng and Da Di were quite close friends, had been since they were children, often sitting and watching sunsets together. Their relationship was so strong, others said they were in love. And they were. As they grew into what is comparable to their later teen years or young adult, their friendship became what others said it was: Love. But it was not a loud and complex affair as others would be, such as that of The Blue Spirit and Painted Lady, but one phase metamophesizing into the other with little notice. Finally, Da Di wished to consimate the relationship.
"'Come Feng,' she would say. 'Lay with me, under these stars. I wish to know you, and you me.'
"But Feng would refuse. 'No Da Di, only you here beside me, in my arms, is all that satisfies me. Nothing more.'
"Every night for weeks this pattern continued, untill Da Di finally asked why he would not lay with her. 'Because your purity is the most precious thing, and I could not forgive myself if I took it from you.' After that, Da Di was silent on the matter. But she still wished to know her love, and she grew frustraited.
"Then one day, she decided to get help, so she went to Wan Shi Tong, to see if he knew of any potions or tricks to assist her in her cause.
"'Love?' he asked, 'I fear something as unquantitative as emotions is beyond my realm m'lady.'
"'Love is not the issue here Owl-face.' she responded tartly, 'Lord Feng and I already love eachother, but I wish us to carnally know eachother, but Twittertail is being a Possum-chicken over it all. I wish for something that will make him relax, if only for a few minutes.'
"After pondering it for a moment, Wan Shi Tong said 'Come, let us and my Knowledge Seekers see what we can find.'
"After much searching, they found the instructions for a potion so potent, no mortal-or Spirit-could resist the charms of the opposite gender.
"'Perfect!' Da Di exclaimed as the mixture was finished.
"'Now remember Lady Da Di,' Wan Shi Tong warned, 'Lord Feng must drink this willingly, or it shall not work, it takes no length of time for the effects to take, but nor do they last or fade slow.'
"That very night, Feng and Da Di watched the Sunset, as was their custom, when Feng noticed that their tea was gone.
"'Please, let me make a fresh pot Feng.' requested Da Di.
"Feng smiled and agreed, for Da Di was good friends with the elder Fire Spirit Xi, the parternal uncle of Agni, and she had learned almost all his secrets of tea brewing. As the tea began to boil, Da Di poured in the needed amount of the potion required, and upon a liberal stirring, poured Feng a cup, feigning non-thirst as he drank. When she saw that the potion had taken effect, Da Di stripped herself of her clothing and seduced Feng."
"And from what I understand," stated the old storyteller as he wound down for the night, it was the first year aniverssery of the end of the Great War, and Fire Lord Zuko-at the behest of Grand Vizer Iroh-was throwing a major celebration, inviting Noples and Royalty from across the world. "Lady Da Di seduced Lord Fend very well indeed, for their spawn were the first Sandbenders."
"Wow!" Aang offered in awe as he and his friends walked to the buffet, Sokka was waiting for them for some time now, saying he needed to 'make sure the food was safe.' "What a great story!"
"I don't know," Katara interjected, "I don't think I liked the way Da Di...forced herself on Feng. It's not exactly romantic"
"Oh grow up Sugar Queen!" Toph offered. "Da Di's the Earth Spirit! She's the ultimate Earthbender! What she wants, she gets. And she doesn't let anybody stand in her way."
"Greatings children!" A voice called over the crowd behind them.
"Iroh!" Katara and Toph called back, embracing the rotuned former general.
"How did you like the Storyteller? I asked the Earth King to bring the best in the continent. I'm only sorry to say that other matters preventing me from attending."
Aang voluntered. "It was awesome Iroh! He told us the Creation story! The story about Avatar Yangchen and the Judgement Spirit Pan Ding, and the story of Air and Earth spirits!"
"Meh, it was all mushy lovey-dovey stuff. Snores-ville!" Toph, ever the blunt one. "Though I'll admit, Pan Ding seemed pretty neat, I kinda wish he talked about him."
The Dragon of The West mearly chuckled, "Well, maybe tomarrow we'll be able to wring one out of our guest. After all, the festival lasts three more days!"
As he motioned to place a Turduken leg on his plate, Iroh turned a mischevious glance at the Avatar and his Earth Master.
"The Earth and Air Spirits you say? Feng and Da Di? Well, you know, they say that if an unwed male Airbender and female Earthbender are alone together on a full moon, they will take their forms and reenact the legend. Eh-heh"
In response, Aang dropped his chopsticks into the ricebowl, while Katara-who was drinking her beverage at that moment-gasped and began to choke on the water on reflex. As for Toph, the only reaction from Bei Fong was a cocked eyebrow.
Iroh acted as if nothing happened.
"Now, if you will please excuse me, I think I shall bring Zuko some tea. Lady Katara! Why don't you join me? Though he will deny it whole-heartedly, Fire Lord Zuko has been most anxious to see you during your stay."
After that, he wondered away, leaving a a rather awkward air among the two youngest teens.
Wishing to leave the situation, Katara decided visiting Zuko would be a good thing.
"You know what? I think I will go see Zuko!" She said, sounding a slight bit nervous. "I'll just leave you two alone for a bit."
And as she wondered off, Aang could have sworn that he heard Katara comment on the lovely full moon there was tonight. And in both his and Toph's mind, a single thought corssed around...
'Why did she have to say that?'

And to welcome you back, I present you with KARMA.
That story was great!
Da Di, literally means, Big Ground if you were to look at each chinese character individually.
Or in the case of the story, Great Earth.
Obvious Xi and Agni here refer to Iroh and Zuko.
Speaking of Agni and this is kinda of topic, I played Devil May Cry 3 and there are a pair of demon Scimitars by the name of Agni and Rudra. Rigvedic gods of Fire and Storm.
And this never occured to me until now, after watching Avatar.
