Purplejay, thanks! =D It was made by MissJimmy, karma her for it  Whoa, I never thought I'd meet another Taanger who doesn't particularly like Zutara because of those reasons o__O. I support the ship, but I like him lots with Mai, cause their relationship is just so darn cute! Taiyo, awww man On the brighter side of things, we've reached our 50th page! -throws confetti- Oh, and speaking of Zutara and Taang, have any of you guys read The Last Incarnation of a Soul ? It's an incredible AU. It focuses more on developing the Zutara, but the Taang is there, and it sounds like it has quite a backstory! Also, Reach Farther has been updated. |

I support the ship, but I like him lots with Mai, cause their relationship is just so darn cute! Heh, yeah. I don't hate Zutara, it's just that I don't like the ship as much as I do others. As I said before, Kataang is my One True Pairing, and I know that some Zutarians and Kataangists still feel the tension of the ship wars so long ago. It's just that with Toph and Aang, they know each other well and accept each other's flaws. They don't need to "change" each other to be in a healthy relationship. But with Zuko and Katara, I feel like Katara has to change Zuko to see it the Gaang's way in order for their relationship to work. Toph and Aang might be different, but they share the same views and accept each other. Tophaang is just adorable. Enough said! |

I don't know. Zuko seems to be changing recently with absolutly no help from Katara. He's still the headstrong and honor-obsessed prince we all love, but all the recent revelations about him and his family tree and whatnot are changing his views on the world as he know to something where he and the gaang could tolerate eachother. *as Ron White* And if Katara can learn to tolerate Zuko... Then maybe she could learn to like Zuko. *normal* Anyway, speaking of Shipper Wars....... |

I would choose Tokka over Taang anyday, But I have coverted into a Taang fan due to one of my friends over at ASN. It is a good relatioship, But I don't want to see it go too far. There could/should be more Taang moments in the show, But by that I just mean friendly moments. |

Purplejay: Wow boy am I glad I'm not alone. I felt like I was the only Taanger that wasn't too keen on Zutara. It's an okay ship, but like you said, one of them would have to change for it to happen. K9: LMAO! Cute picture you found! That was hilarious. Poor Sokka. XD lol his nose is bleeding too, it's like Classic Tenchi Muyo. Something I found--sorry if it's already been posted |

^ Yeah, you're not alone! In fact, I think I'm one of the only Kataangists to like Tophaang too. Nice pic, by the way!
K9: Good point... it's just that the Gaang pretty much treats him like their mortal enemy now, and after Crossroads, Katara would want to kill him after what he had done. So basically, she would try to "reform" him into one of them- one of the "good guys" if any romantic interest were to arise.
Well, I like Tophaang more in any case. Tokka is a neat ship, too, but I view it more as a brother/sister kind of thing, you know? Sokka being the wise, advice-giving (although sometimes annoying) big brother and Toph being the insecure, although fun lil' sister.
Here's how I view the ships:
Kataang: Innocent, naive, but passionate
Tophaang: Fun, young, and free
Tokka: Sort of a sibling relationship
Zutara: Forbidden love, but passionate if it were to work. (I mean, look at Maiko.)

bagpipeturtle, yeah! That's the one! With Zach, Katie, Andrew, Tabitha, etc. the whole story is something amazing! Than everyone else went and copied her with the whole 'incarnation' plotline, so now her fic doesn't get the attention it deserves T__T
Purplejay, well, I think that the reason everyone thinks Zuko's character has to change is cause that's how he's written about in fanfiction. Most Zutara stories revolve around redeeming Zuko's character. It could be fanwriters aren't so off the mark about that, but like Maylene said, the way the latest episodes are looking, his character's undergoing changes that have nothing to do with Katara. XD
