"Very well." He went quietly back to stay beside Yasu, and glanced over his shoulder at the two for a second. He smirked a little. He could see the guilt in Matsu's face, and feel it in his silence. The girl trusted him far too easily. Boredom once again set in, and he began playing with the pebbles to pass the time as his brother slumbered beside him. Despite appearances, he was as always, alert. He didn't trust a single person on this sand sailor.

Noa didn't know if he could keep up to ensure the rate of people that Hati kept upsetting. He then thought of somethig that just might calm Hati from continuing her mass wardrobe inspection. It was late and people were getting tired.
"Uh...Hati. You know, many people here don't have on their best outfits. They don't want to get them ruined while travelling through the sandy desert and all. I'm sure they all have there best gear stoed away in their packs for the city and all. Heheh."

Hati looked at him, she was tired too and the sun should be rising soon. She sat beside him, leaning against him slightly with a soft sigh. "But I manage to look good."
Matsu glanced at Fenny, really he looked at her feet. "Fenny...thank you for helping me." He murmured. "But please...don't trust me that much." He said softly. "You barely know me."

"I can decide for myself whom I'll trust. And I definately trust you more than that fellow. But I wouldn't trust him farther than I could spit a seapig." Fenny shook her head. "Don't flatter yourself too much. You barely know me either." She turned her head away from Matsu, not to snub him but to watch what Hati and Noa were up to.

Kyi stood there for a moment with her mouth ajar, just staring at Hati. Finally, she muttered, "Well, I'm sorry that I don't spend all my money on my clothes. And I'm especially sorry that I don't try to make everyone feel bad by flauting everything I have." Kyi scanned Hati's outfit and muttered, "And aren't you scared your going to dirty that little outfit of yours? We're cross the desert, you're not suppose to wear your best outfit out here."

Matsu still felt guilty he could see the edges of the sky turn from hard black to softening gray. Soon he could sleep...this nightmare of a ride would be oever for one night at least.
"I'm a water bender" Hati said snippily. "I can keep my own beautiful clothes perfectly clean and managable. Some people don't even seem to change their outfits period." She glanced towards Fenny at the last comment.

"Some people don't ever seem to know when to shut up even when they've upset over half the people on the sandsailor though they are going to have to live with them for several days more, and they should probably be hoping they will not be strangled in their sleep. Oh, I'm sorry. Was that one too long?" Fenny looked up at Hati innocently.

Hati gave Fenny a dirty look before shrinking back against Noa, Noa would protect her for sure.
Matsu had lost all control, he couldn't stay awake. He curled up slightly but ended up leaning against Fenny, sleeping quietly, for once looking peaceful.

Noa spoke aloud, "Look we're all just a little fussy because," he paused with a yawn, "we're a little tired." He finished with another wide yawn. He was starting to get a little sleepy himself. And the cool night breeze was very comforting but at the same time he had a cold spot from the water he spilled on his pants. Noa uncapped his waterskin once more and bended out a small ball of water and slurped it into his mouth.
"Oh before I forget. Are you still using my crystal? I just wanna make sure, it's sort of been a good luck charm for me" he stated. (At he thinks it a good luck charm). "Oh and would you like some water?" He tried to keep her attention away from everyone else, for their sake of getting any more upset.
---
"My word. Are all waterbenders this much of a racket?" Geming thought to himself in a mutter. The man sat just a few individuals away from the two. He had been trying to get some sleep all throughout that commotion with the waterbending lass. Instead, he was stuck hearing their conversation the entire time. The woman was a menace with a mouth and the guy was just an idiot. It annoyed the heck out of him just to think why those people were wasting time in the Earth Kingdom.
While he was up listening to the imprudent waterbenders he also took the time to examine the rest of the passengers. There were several people that caught his interest. One of them was a woman of a rather large height. Just by her stance and physique, he knew she had to be an earthbender. He also eyed the one man that had shot thrown the one man overboard with his earthbending. Geming actually admired him for his sterness to look after what appeared to be his younger sibling. By his quick movements he definitely had some special training.
He also eyed at the one armed man. He was no doubt a soldier, which his lady-friend had reinforced. He seemed to be skiddish but he could respect a man who has been through an event to scar him so. These were the people that had potential.

Fenny quieted down now. She had efficiently shut down princess motormouth, and now Matsu was falling asleep against her. Fenny was still wide awake though, and sat contentedly as she watched the edge of the horizon glow a dark pink.

Hati quietly gave Noa his crystal back, not even saying thank you. The thread on her life had easily quited her down, instead she settled against Noa to watch the sun rise.
Matsu was of course comfortable sleeping against Fenny, but he was sure to be embarassed when he woke up, if he had known Geming was there watching him he wouldn't have even fallen asleep.

Kyi rolled her eyes and hurried back to where she was sitting before all of this. She leaned against a wooden box and let a small yawn escape her lips. She crossed her arms and stretched out her legs as she tried to keep her eyes open, but her eyelids felt like 2 ton weights and it seemed impossible to keep them up.

Ryu smirked at the man complaining about waterbenders. He could see everyone else falling asleep. He refused to sleep with so many strangers around. All he needed was one more idiot like that man he shot off. He certainly didn't feel like sleeping at a time like this.

Silence reigned over the lagging sandsailor as its passengers settled down. Only the sun and the sandbender kept mechanically at their work. Eventually the sun made its way over the lip of the horizon, pouring bright light over the desert sands. Things beagn to heat up again. And the morning twilight burned off, the sandbenders slowed the sandsailor, and eventually stopped it completely. "Oyiii! Oyiii!" called one of the sandbenders in his native tongue, banging the back of a pot to wake everyone up. The other sandbenders hopped off and began to set up camp, a mix of bending and regular tent setting-up. The result was part tent, part cave.

Hati was instantly up, now she could get off this smelly sand sailor and maybe get some alone time with Noa. Yea, she had a thing for him already. She grabbed her bag with her blanket in it and flounced off the sand sailor, stepping lightly through the sand so dust wouldn't get up on her clothes.
((Cue Fenny to jump around in the sand around her =3))
Matsu woke up with the yelling and his face turned a deeper shade of pink, one that wasn't from the storm. He stood up and held out his left hand to politely help Fenny up, considering he had slept on her.
