BlackoutGimme More ~ A very good song. Should've been more of a 2nd single. I love the "It's Britney B*tch!" at the beginning! lol Piece of Me ~ GREAT song about what goin on in her life. This would've been MUCH better for her comeback at the VMA's!!! Radar ~ This song has potential for a single. It's starts off soft but then goes into this trance that has you singing like the song is your own. Break the Ice ~ This song is filled with pep about getting to know your crush. Hevan on Earth ~ Awesome song for you if you've found the right person in your life. Get Naked (I Got a Plan) ~ I don't think this is a very good song. It makes little/no sense. But I don't know if you'd like it!? Freakshow ~ Awesome song. It's really powerful! Toy Solider ~ Ehh. Not one of my favorites. XD Hot as Ice ~ I like this song. I like the way she says "I'm Cool as Fire && Hot as Ice" -- it's awesome. Ooh Ooh Baby ~ This isn't one of the best songs on the record. Perfect Lover ~ I think this song is ok. It wouldn't be in my top 5 for this record. Why Should I Be Sad ~ Great song for breaking up! I think it's the only one on this CD! All over I'd give "Blackout" a 4/5 Stars! You can buy it at Amazon.com! www.amazon.com/Blackout-Britney-Spears/dp/B000WQ9UA8^^ You can listen to samples on Amazon!

*sigh* I don't support Britney's decisions or lifestyle, and a lot of her music has become very pointless. But nonetheless, Britney Spears in my celeb soft-spot. I can't help it. I want to take her hand and tell her how she can help herself. The poor thing is having a mental breakdown.

I don't support what Britney is doing with her life either, but I feel the exact same way! lol.
I still do love her music, though, I don't think it's pointless! I was too harsh on Blackout before, it's like my guilty pleasure now! I love it especially "Freakshow", "Piece Of Me", and "Hot As Ice".

She's obivoulsy not mentally ill or anything. But she does need some kind of help. Who knows maybe she should go on that new reality show about rehab along with Lindsey, Paris and Nichole. He he he.

I think the world needs to leave her alone. Let her see her babies, stop critisizing her weight and her lifestyle, and get the dang cameras out of her face! Then maybe she can pull herself back together and make her music again. She CAN come back. She just needs a chance.

The world needs to leave her alone? She invites everyone into her life!!! She's just a messed up, attention lover girl. She does everything to herself. She can't sing anymore. What's the point of having her around? She's only around because she does idiotic crap that people can't seem to get enough of. She enjoys the attention.

Oh, yes. Because she loves to cry on camera. She loves it when the paparazzi invade her home and her life. Are you serious? Have you scene her videos, heard her songs? She hates the way her life is going. I think the only reason she stays alive is for her children, despite that she is going about it all wrong. Is she insane, stupid, slutty, and bitchy? Of course she is. But she wasn't always that way. I admire her voice, and her strength for making it through all these years.

Holy crap Chibi Chan, is it necessary to bash someone like that? No matter who you were talking about I'd be offended. It's just wrong to call someone worthless and rag on them like that. You've never met her and you don't know what she goes through. None of us do. And I'd defend anyone in this position.
What's the use of having her around? Are you seriously saying that?? Should we just get rid of the people others think shouldn't be around? Is that fair at all? Nooo. And believe it or not, people still love and support her.

If I'm not mistaken, I believed this thread to be about her music, not judging her decisions in life.
I don't like Britney Spears, or her music, but I'm sure that part of her meltdowns are because of the constant pressure from the paparazzi following her everywhere. In the beginning, yes, people are attention whores and constantly want the cameras.
We all make mistakes, and there are people who have made ones far worse than Britney Spears has made, and ever will make. You only dislike her because the cameras and magazines like the air it 24/7. Get mad at them for making her the center of attention.
I suggest you post your reasons for disliking her with more tact than blatant and uncalled for statements like "What's the point of having her around?"

Luna and Para have a point, Chibi Chan. The pressure of the press is weighing her down and it's them who always put her in the center of attention.
Everyone makes mistakes, it's what makes us human... unfortunately for Miss Spears her mistakes get published and causes her to appear as the evil one. When in fact she's only human and I'm sure the press make her appear worse than she really is.
Anyways, back to discussing her music and no bashing like that again, thank you.

For anyone else who wants to bash on Britney, do watch this: www.illwillpress.com/topical2.htmlAnyway, I liked Britney Spears in the early days, more so in the late ninety's, early 00's, ya know, before society become TOTAL nimrods when it concerned celebrities. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't exactly a fan either. I have to be honest when my ma wouldn't let me listen to her, or anyone for that matter. But I wasn't that into music back then anyway. I'd listen to a few of her songs that passed by on TV, back when it was safe for her to be on The Today Show and Good Morning America. The last actual song I listened to that was by her was this song we had to dance to in my Jazz Dance class in 9th grade year. Forgot the title though...

Some of her old music was catchy, but I'm definitely not a fan of her newer albums. And as for her lifestyle, I pity her.

I'm bringing this thread back from the dead! I have recently been listening to some of Britney's old albums, and songs. Because all I have ever really heard is the popular singles off them. lol. My new favorite song off Blackout is "Get Back" & "Toy Soldier". Both are so awesome. "Get Back" is only available on iTunes though, I think, and you have to purchase the whole album.
