Well, we read the Canterbury Tales in English AP and I am not too fond of them. Some of the tales are interesting to a point but overall the novel bores me.

I don't remember, I used to throw away books I dislike but the last I threw me are the three last Harry Potter's. I was never fond of her style to begin with but I enjoy some few characters. Nevertheless after Sirius's death, each book had been a cruel disappointment IMO.

People are probably going to hate me but Harry Potter 5,6,7 I really didn't like, the first ones were great but these just seemed to lack what the first few books had.

^ I love all the books of HP, but the first ones, I thought, were better. I love darkness as much as the next person, but the first three were pretty light and I liked that about them. Same with Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. They weren't as good after Kostos had sex with that Greek girl, and then had to marry her for getting her pregnant. I loved the Kostos/Lena pairing, but last time I read, Paul/Lena was taking place.

I despise The Grapes of Wrath. Had to read it for English. Not fun.

The Inheritance Trilogy... need I explain this? Just about everyone hates that trilogy. Is he even going to write the last one? There really wouldn't be any point in doing so.

Yes, he is writing it- with a quill according to a letter he wrote to his fans; meaning that the final book which will be longer than the about 700 pages Eldest is being written by a quill. Brilliant Paolini.

I personally disagree. The first ones felt too much like "the various adventures of Harry Potter" and I felt by the 5th book it needed a more overarching plot and was pleased it delivered on that.

Brilliant Paolini. It'll be longer??? Oh God.... Well, it's not like I'm gonna read it. I finished To Kill a Mockingbird. It was okay. I thought the ending was the only good part. I still don't see much of a plot or point, except for how wrong racism is.

I like To Kill a Mockingbird and Canterbury Tales I did not, however, enjoy Beowulf. Of course, part of it was my classmate...he really took away from my enjoyment of it.
And the Inheritance Trilogy. And, let's see... The Master Puppeteer. That book sickened me.
