For some reason I really love these books, i normally hate books about popular girls, but its nice how Lisi Harrison shows that they aren't really heartless b*tches deep down, they have problems like the rest of us.
My fave charectors are: Claire, Kristen, and Dylan.
Anyone else like them?

YES!!!!! I thought I was the only one on here that like those books! I can't wait until March. That's when the new one comes out. I read all of them except Best Friends For Never. My friends and I are obbsessed with them. But it's hard to believe that those girls are 12 . My fave charaters are Claire, Massie, and Dylan.

Dial L For Loser wasn't the greatest. My favorite is The Pretty Committee Strikes Back. What's yours?

O.M.G.! I absoluly heart the books! ^^ I guess you just have to kinda like those kind of books ^^ But I just got "Its Not Easy Being Mean" the new one! Like an entire week early! ^^ Its supposed to come out March 1st but I went to Barnes and Noble yesterday and got it. Lemme tell you some big things going on in it.. *We find out that Massie and the girls aren't the only Alpha clique in O.C.D. *They will be looking in the bedrooms of the Briarwood Boys *Layne's hawt older bro, Chris shows back up (finally!), something big has happened b/t him and his ah-noyying GF. *Claires agent makes her do some "bad things" to make her look edgier. *Massie & Derrington = Complications *Dylan = New Way to Lose Weight *Cam & Claire = Still going strong. *The P.C.'s Alpha status is being threatned by the L.B.R.s. U'll have to read to find out why all this stuff is. ^^

I love these books. My only problems with them, is that it's really hard to believe that these girls are only in the 7th grade, and they wear stilettos and can spend money like no tomorrow. I'm older than them and I wear Converse and ripped jeans to school!
As much as I enjoy these books, I want to read more about real people with real problems, not trivial problems such as, "OMG, I need a new outfit to wear on the field trip because my secret crush will be there!!!1!1one!1!"
And, I thought "Dial L For Loser" was very unrealistic. If I got expelled from school, my parents wouldn't let me go 5 feet from my house without a kid leash on. It's hard to believe that those parents let the girls go shopping and eat biscotti at Starbucks every day while everyone else is at school.
My favorite installments are "Revenge of the Wannabes" and "Best Friends For Never". I love how "Revenge" starts out from Alicia's point of view, and how "Best Friends" introduces some more of the main characters and plot points.
So, on the Random Battery scale of book rating, I give the Clique series a 8.5/10. I can't wait for the new book, though!

Barnes & Noble got "Its Not Easy Being Mean" in early. Then again we don't have lots of money like the Blocks, Marvils, and Riveras do, and Kristen doesn't she gets her money from the others. They are probably like that because they have never really had to deal with problems other than that, because the lifestyle they grew up in. It seems to me that Massie's and Alicia's parents just couldn't give a hoot Kristen and Claire's parents seem too, they made them do work while they were away. Plus Dylan's mom is the host of a world famous morning show, so it kinda is realistic. Revenge of the Wannabes was really awesome ^^ I really liked "The Pretty Commitee Strikes back" too though, it kind of showed Massie's insecure side, and I liked that.

I've always wanted to read "The It Girl". Is it good? While I'm waiting for someone to take me to the store so I can get "It's Not Easy Being Mean, I'm reading Gossip Girl. If you people think that The Clique is unbelieveable, you're wrong. Read Gossip Girl and compare it to The Clique. Gossip Girl is sooooooooo unbelieveable.
