Star Fox 64 gets me everytime. I have so many memories of constantly bugging my brother to let me play. And when he finally let me play, I couldn't stop complaining about the other characters. XD
"Falco is mean! Can I shoot him?" "Slippy is sooo annoying! And she never helps! Huh? What do you mean it's a he!?" "DAMMIT PEPPY! Barrel rolls don't solve everything!"
Aww man... good times.

Megaman. Snes, if I'm correct. My friend had it, and we played together all the time. I miss that game. The 'friend' not so much.

Ocarina of Time was one of the first games that got me into RPG's and games like that.
There was also for the NES Gauntlet 2 I played that game forever(this was before I knew there was no ending to it)

Mine would be Ogre Battle 64. There was a character I loved, a Lycanthrope named Biske, that was a pain in the rear to get, the requirements to get him were so exacting. Plus, you had at the very least four endings to work your way through, depending on if you recruited a certain set of characters (two of the five are a royal pain to get) and if you captured the majority of the strongholds or liberated. Capturing is easier, but liberation is more rewarding. It wasn't the best game in that there wasn't any real action to speak of, all you did was build your units and set them against the enemy, but it looked pretty for the system it was on, and the story was engaging. Good times I had with that game, trying to build the best army ever, and I really miss it. I still have it, and my 64, but it's not hooked up and I don't know if the system still works properly.

For me, it would have to be the old X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter games for me. I never was any good, and was captured by the Imperials a couple times, but it was one of my first real games, and a game that deserves a Preqeul Trilogy Counterpart . . .

Wow...I feel so old. My nostalgia outdates the NES...the first games I owned were on the Commodore 64. But I was REALLY little. And I also used to have these little Pac Man games that worked by putting these little "cartridges" on a fake plastic paddle board, and you pushed the buttons and the little pac men would get shot into the air like a pinball machine. I think if you got him hooked onto the little cherries swinging in the middle, you won...something like that. Very cute. My uncle had an Atari but he wouldn't let me play when I was little. Mean old uncle.
