Does anyone here still play Civilization II? If so, does anyone think they could make a map using the map editor to look simular to the Avatar world? With the Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, Water Tribes?

I do play civ 2 and made some scenario's I've actualy thought of building an Avatar world based scenario. I've only ran in a few problems. Mostly i've got no time to build one and i don't have enough experiance with making unit and city graphix. Next to that, the location and names of the cities would be a problem, especialy for the Water tribe, Air nomands and firenation. No places in the firenation are known except the location of the fire temple. Same counts for airnomads and water tribe. Only a few locations are known. Making 4 different tech trees would be no problem. Getting every nation intresting to play will be difficult, especialy the Air nomads. We only have seen monks and no soldiers and stuff like that. With only one unit it is hard to make an intresting tech tree. Earth Kingdom and FIrenation offers the best options in this way. Maybe if i find some free time i can build a map but i don't promise anything.

I play civ 4 and it might fit your needs better since the units can level up themselves with unique traits.

Or you could use the Air Nomads as the tribes. Remember when you have huts? Instead place the four templates and have them give you knowledge. For the Water tribes, just name them The Northern Water Tribe and Southern Water Tribe.
Other then that, the map will most likey be Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation. You could place the village where the Bei Fong's live as well. The Sandy Palms Oasis. Ba Sing Se. Avatar Roku's Temple could be done like the Air Temples.
Do you happen to have a good map of the Avatar word with you? Cause all I have is the map in the magazine.

Civ 2 is far more easely moddable than civ 4 and i got zero experiance on working with civ 4.
My idea was a scenario where you play as firenation and must conquer the world within a certain timeframe (100 years). It's only an idea in my head and if i ever want to create it i need to team up with someone who can make the unit and city graphix.
