I can understand if you hate the Xenosaga series. I however enjoy the lengthy cutscenes and highly developed plot and characters.

3.
The 1st is very good (if you like lengthy cutscenes) The 2nd is a bit dissapointing but still good if you liked the 1st. And I have heard good things about the 3rd, but i havent reached it yet.
The characters are very deep, and the plot is great.

I've only beaten the first, and homework has kept me from playing the second and third one, but the first is pretty good. The soundtrack is superb as well X]

I started playing Xenosaga, but I just couldn't get into it, so I sold it at Gamestop yesterday. Only got two lousy bucks on store credit! >(

I played the first game and I got really into it, but not enough to continue. It has a compelling storyline and deep characters, but the extremely long cutscenes made it hard to follow at times. Maybe one day I'll pick it up again and finish. I did like the kid with the guns.....if he was a kid...

OMG I remember that scene. That was pretty f****d up, but he definately is on my top list of best villians for a video game ever along with other white haired ones.

I got it spring of last year, but I could put the controller down, which I don't normally do with new video games. :/

Mkayz, I finally beat Episode III, and I found it very good. Probably the best one in the series.
The plot is excellent of course, although the lack of Albedo's a bit saddening.

I loved the first and second Xenosaga. Although I probably liked the first one better, the battle system was a lot better in the second one. The third one is sitting by my PS2...waiting to be played! Curse you moving...and school...and DS. Actually, there's *several* games waiting in the queue...but anyway. I also have a copy of Xenogears that I need to play...it's actually still sealed. Probably worth a small fortune on ebay but I actually want to play it. I found it in a drawer back when I was working in EB a while back. Sigh, one of the only good things about that job was the insanely cool finds now and then. But I'll have to agree with someone's earlier post...never sell your games there. It's an ENORMOUS rip-off. Sometimes though if someone traded in something exceptionally good, we would counter-offer them outside. Like, hey you...the trade-in is 2 bucks, but I'll give you 5 in cash on my lunch break! The most insane example of this was one of my coworkers got the ENTIRE BOXSET of escaflowne for...20 dollars. 20 dollars!! The kid had NO clue how much it was worth and thought it was garbage. And the trade-in value at the store was something like 2 dollars. Oh! The travesty. My friend was happy about it though. He still brags to this day about that. (And this was before cheap boxsets...imagine that everthing is over $100, spoiled anime fans of today)
