Spirited Away wasn't overrated. It was just over-promoted. Ha, it was barely promoted. ts overrated. I dont mean by people saying "this movie is incredible and amazing" I mean people thinking its his best work, when it really isnt.

I dont mean by people saying "this movie is incredible and amazing" I mean people thinking its his best work, when it really isnt. It was insanely promoted here. There were commercials constantly for it. (And by the way, I think it was his best work. Maybe not the most "Miyazaki," but certaintly his best in my opinion.)

I liked Spirited Away. It had everything it needed to give you those weird dreams that make you remember a movie(not nightmares, just...strange dreams)! And Haku was so adorable!

I remember all the commercials when it came out in the U.S. I wanted to watch it just because I saw the dragon in the commercial. I wasn't a big fan when it came out at first.

I think Spirited Away was dubbed well, too. Though I've watched it subbed...I like the dub. (Probably because after reading the subs for the length of the movie, my contacts were burning!)

I liked Nausicca, but it seemed so old. And the dub's audio isn't the greatest.

I just read "Howl's Moving Castle" and "Castle in the Air" (the books, I didn't read the movie.) They were so sad. THe movies changed a lot. But whatever. I shall still love Howl's Moving Castle Miyazaki style! *pulls out Howl shrine*

I kinda like Princess Mononoke because of the action, the plot, and the blood a little bit

Princes Mononoke was definitely his best and most thought provoking work.

I like Princess Mononoke, but there wasn't enough romance for my taste. The end disappointed me.
