I finally got irritated with Bleach during the Soul Society Renji/Ichigo fight which I had been kind of looking forward to (why I have no idea -- I should have known what to expect). In the manga I'm sure it worked incredibly well, but in the anime it just sat there. That's when I decided to stop watching Bleach and eventually just read the manga. I think it will be more satisfying that way. Anyway, I didn't mean to hijack the thread. Please go back to posting great fights. And please include the name of the anime/manga so I can check it out.

The last fight in Bebop is definently one of my favorites, and I also love just about all of the fights in FLCL.

^^ See, what is FLCL? I'm behind the times. If something has good fights, I'm interested in seeing it.

Fooly Cooly(FLCL) is Gainax's next big hit after Neon Genesis Evangelion. Like most of Gainax's work the fights a incomprehensible and extremely fast pace. Very enjoyable though.

That Hokage vs. Orochimaru fight was rediculous. Possibly the worst fight in Naruto.

I wouldn't say unique. Dead Leaves was the same way. Unorthodox would be the word to describe it.

I'm on the wagon for Kenshin vs Saito at the beginning of the Kyoto arc. The Wolf of Mibu is bad Equus asinus in it and we finally see Kenshin fight all out without using stupid special moves.
Personal favorite, even tough it was very one sided, is Souchirou Nagi vs Masataka Takayanagi from Tengen Tenjou. First and probably last time I've ever seen a side character just beat the living crap out of a main character while influenced by pure rage.

That Hokage vs. Orochimaru fight was rediculous. Possibly the worst fight in Naruto. Oh no, there are some that beat it, like the short SasuLee fight. They spent half the episode flying in the air. XD At least in the OroSandaime one, they had that one episode where everything was fast-paced. After the death god was released, that's where it majorly sucked. No wonder Sandaime couldn't pull out Oro's soul; he was too tired after standing for 5 episodes straight!!!

So I've been watching Blood+ and I'm kind of disappointed. The fights seem like they're pretty good, especially when Haji gets going, but they don't show the movements very well. I like that they're fast-paced and it doesn't take five episodes to get through them, but I'd like them to hold on an angle for long enough for me to get a clear view of the strike. That's just IMO of course. Again, I have to hold Avatar up as one of the best animated shows for fighting. They really know how to present a fight. I'm a little disappointed in several aspects of Blood+ but I'll keep watching. I don't think I've gotten to the fights that have been mentioned, so maybe the style changes a little.
