YAYZ MELLOW AND NEAR! Im so happy they have good VAs. :3 Especially Near. His was the cheese. xD I kind of agree with SM. Animes and Mangas that have a million chapters/episodes are usually ones I dont waste my time with. (Not that all long sereses are bad, most are really good.) And ESPECIALLY when its not in English and on TV, because then you are forced to sit there and look at a computer for hours a day, which is painful. Lol, if a AWESOME Heaven exists, I am sure there is anime. xD And you will probably be happy with everything, even something bad. But anyway, back to Death Note. Im sad the serese is starting to end. ;-; And the crazy guy is finally on!!! YAY! Hes pretty cool. xD Well, until the end. Then I feel bad for him.

I love Mikami. His little "Delete. Delete" thing is really awesome.

I did not really like today's episode which focused entirely on Mikami for most of the episode. It was nice seeing his past and learning more about him but I missed Near and the SPK. Bringing Kiyomi in as the new Kira spokesperson was pretty good though. It's pretty "nice" seeing Light use an "intelligent" girl and "idiot" girl as complete tools. Also we saw Mello and his signature candy bite while getting a glimpse of his partner Matt

I love Mikami in the manga and I love him in the Anime!! The "delete! Delete!" thing is perfect. And Kiyomi is finally brought back. Things are going to get interesting! @chevalier- I also missed Near. But I liked how we got to see Mikami's past and see how his mind basically works.

The scene of Light and the task force entering the warehouse is one of my favorite moments.

The last episode is currently on adultswim.com
Personally I like the manga ending better, Light dies more like a ***** that he is.

I kind of liked the dramaticness of the anime ending. I felt the manga ending was just BOOM and the end. I like it if it's a little bit dragged out.
But the anime made you feel sympathy for Light, which you shouldn't feel anything for him.

The last episode is currently on adultswim.com Personally I like the manga ending better, Light dies more like a ***** that he is. They make Light seem like enough of a ***** with the whole freaking out in his discovery scene and his "swimming lessons." I feel that the manga ending was simply anticlimactic, and the anime one gives a proper send off to the character and the series.

The thing about the manga ending is that it shows Light has really lost as he begs Ryuk for help (that I just love that look of desperation in Light). Also it shows that Near considered the possibility of Ryuk being a factor into the grand scheme of things. The anime ending was good but I just miss that final act of Light desperation.

Light had plenty of moments like that in the anime. From the "LOL ITS A TRAP, HOW ODD" to him asking for Mikami to write their names down even though he didnt have the notebook. Overall I think the anime ending is better because it's more prettiful and has a nice OST.

I just like the fact that Light dies in the end. At least he gets what he deserves.
