Well, I went to see it last night. Personally, I thought it was amazing. I haven't read that particular book in years, and I intentionally did not re-read it until after I saw this. I saw the movie as a movie, not a new mentally challenged form of the book.
I felt the actresses and actors improved a LOT from the last movie. You don't usually find a lot of really good children for movies, and if they stick with these kids, they'll have something really special.
It didn't feel rushed at all to me. I understood everything perfectly and the scene transitions were well done.
The team mascot for my school...and town, really, is the badger. Which is why EVERYONE in the theatre was laughing their heads off with the "...You know, you'd think more people would know a badger when they see one."
Over all, it was a fantastic movie and I'd encourage all Narnia nerds to go see it. ^_^

Even though the movie completely deviated from the book at times, I really loved it Initially, I wasn't too thrilled at the idea of a romance between Susan & Caspian, but they managed to pull it off without being too cheesy. I actually kinda liked it. And Ben Barnes... OH. EM. GEE. *drools*

Well, I saw Prince Caspian a few days ago, and I gotta say that I enjoyed it overall. I wouldn't say it was completely faithful to the book (some scenes that were in the book weren't in the movie, for example), but it was still a good film. Reepicheep was awesome, the Wer-Wolf's speech was absolutely creepy, and I found the whole thing with the White Witch to be dramatic.
I was actually pleased with the Caspian/Susan relationship that was in the movie. It was more or less in the background, so you could ignore it if you really wanted to, and I wasn't too bothered by the kiss at the end.
I was a bit put off by Peter's arrogant attitude throughtout the movie. I remember thinking, Okay, where did that come from? Why is Peter being so jerky?
I may post some more, but I've got to go.
