I went to the movie theater and fell asleep during it.
Then I watched it a few years ago and loved it, but I forgot what it was about. I just remember there was a giant robot and a boy in it.

Easily beats ET. I thought it was very touching.

I still remember it. The boy had a mom and a dad who was in the army.
His dad was just crazy to the very end. I found it hard to understand him at all.
my favorite was how the robot would put himself back together. Remember the scene where the hand was running loose in the house and the kid had to make sure his mom didn't see it?

The laid-back artsy guy who ran the junkyard--he was the best.
