Uh no, because I highly doubt the creators went: "I know, let's make Katara like Aang's mom!" The mother/son thing is purely a fan/shipper creation. The motherly thing was part of her character, but I don't think it is used to define her as "so and so's mom-figure." You guys are kicking off a new room soon. Pretty cool!  I hope new episodes air soon. The inability to discuss is making people antsy...LOL |

But in the end, she still is mothering them ^^.... Only taht Toph accepted to have her on her role, because is nice. |

If she ever cares about Zuko's well being in any fashion she will do the same thing to him as she does to everyone else. |

Guys, come on. We've been over our feelings on any potential maternal relationship between Katara and Aang a million and one times, so there's nothing new about this argument. We all know how it'll end if we keep going. I'm not trying to discourage debate, I think it's great, but this is going to be circular and, as we have no new material that is able to be discussed, we'll just be going down the same road. I know I have no power over yall, but please, let's talk Zutara instead of arguing? Please? |

Well, things seemed rather quiet over here, so I thought I'd pop in with another Zutarian question, if nobody minds. (Oh, and I found art: windy-asylum.deviantart.com/art/A-Little-Cup-of-Heaven-72917015 I hope it hasn't been posted before...) So, my question: Does anyone think that Zuko would forfeit his place as fire lord, to be with Katara at the South Pole? (Presuming Iroh was alive, he could rule the FN instead, for a few years anyway.) Katara has pretty strong ties to her home and family, and would want to be there while her home is being rebuilt. You could have Zuko going there as part of some sort of FN diplomatic mission. |

I could see that happening. If Zuko and Katara beccame a couple, I could see them being really open about where they live. They've both been all over the world, and home is the South Pole to Katara... if that's where she wanted to live, I'm sure he'd oblidge. And Zuko obviously thinks very highly of Iroh. It's not like he'd be leaving the FN without a capable leader. Great art finds, guys, wow! Today has a lot of art. |
