Hu? Well does anyone want to discuss about Roku and his wife, and how much they have in common?

Er, good news and bad news guys.
Good news! I'm watching the tenth episode tomorrow. Day Of Black Sun. Bad news! The season is going way too quickly, I really wish they would slow down with the new episodes...

You mean its going quickly for you.(wherever you live) But I guess I can see where your coming from. They did say before S3 started that there was going to be 10 straight episodes of ATLA. Which should mean they'll slow down after tomorrow for you.
Lucky...
Karatelover: uh, sure right after I watch that episode again to catch up on the details

I'm really scared. I will NOT watch DoBS early, and I'm really scared about spoilers. I just might stay away from Avatar sites for a while...
Anyway. So my friend and I (swan2swan from LiveVideo) were discussing Kataang, and when their romance changed from a 'crush' to full-blown love.
I said, "I don't think it turned into 'full-blown' love during the Serpents Pass. I think it turned into full-blown love at the end of the Desert. That scene was insanely powerful for a reason. To show his anger, frustration, and just how upset he was. But one of the most powerful things, was how everyone was running away, and Katara stood there, with the most heart broken look on her face. The music in the background was just building and building, and you are anticipating Aang to blow at any second...and then she reaches out for him, and the music changes immediately. There is no one else that could have brought him out of that state. Only her. That was when it became so much more than a 'crush'. "
And he replied with, "That was the first time that he pushed her away, really...demonstrated in that painful shot of him shaking his shoulder out of her hand....that episode was the one where he stopped wanting her and began needing her."
I loved the last thing he said there. He couldn't have worded it better if he tried.

ummmm....*hands kataang an anti-zutara/taang arguement shield , since Aang NEEDING katara seems to be their main arguement ATM* and about when it turned from crush to full blown love.. ok let me think.... Maybe it started out as love from Aang's side at eppie 14. but I think you're right. And tell your friend you can want something and need it at the same time. Saying he doesn't want her but he needs her means he doesn't particularly like her, but he needs to be around her.

grecia: Yes it's true that most of the Zutaraians are in fact girls. I'm a girl too! But about French, I heard that the spelling is hard! Is that true?! I'm ok when it comes to conversing in Spanish, but I speak Russian too. Speaking French is not so difficult, but if your spelling ... There are two types of accents that can carry 1 word , several types of quotation marks depending on the conjugation of the verb and of the individual , most of his words carry an "e" in the end, is serious not write, but it is more serious to speak end of the word, ¡¡insist spelling is 10 0000 times more complicated than the spanish!!! , and that the spelling of spanish is still difficult not dominate and that is my native language And ... I am very excited by Chapter 310 , but I do not think that there is any Kataang Hence , each faces is duty Do ¡¡ this is a war!! Have only 8 minutes of the eclipse, I wonder if it will be in real time That would be amazing

I smell desperation.. Let them scrape around for Anti-Kataang evidence. Whatever keeps them busy. Aang can function fully and completely without Katara, but sometimes, he needs her. Which can be a good thing, but can also be a bad thing when it comes to the AS. If he wants to master the AS, I have a feeling that later on in this season, we are going to see him pushing her away, and not WANTING to want her. Even though he needs her/wants her, he doesn't want to feel this way because he has to focus on these powers. This is all speculation of course, but what my friend was trying to say, was that it changed from physical attraction to an metal/spiritual/emotional connection. *hopes that made sense*

...........not any less desperate then any other arguement that they have ever made. Actually, I dont think this one arguement is a desperation attempt at all.

Yes, I do think Aang needs Katara, and she needs him too. They're always there for eachother, it's just so sweet . I'd really, really love to hear Aang say that outloud though, it doesn't have to be in front of Katara, I just want to hear him say that he needs her.

Katara is a powerful motivation for Aang requires her mental various levels of support, affection and power. The strong and powerful relationship Katara and Aang has many more nuances mental comparison of contact since the beginning of the show

I'm actually going to give the arugment that Aang had a crush first, but Katara actually was the first of the couple to actually fall in love.
Kataang was a crush in episode one, and in episode three it had a little more emotion when Katara hugged Aang. In episode 7 she embraced him after he came back... but I think it became love on Katara's part at the end of episode 14, when Sokka made the remark about Aang being a powerful bender.
Aang seemed to have just a crush until Bato of the Water Tribe, when Katara kissed him for the first time; in the Deserter, after he hurt Katara, Aang began to take things much more seriously. Katara was extremely protective of him in the season finale, and that hug was on both sides, not just from Katara, but Aang hugged back.
In season two, Katara seemed to be more serious at first, actually; in the Avatar state she showed a lot of concern. In the CoTL, she was the one who suggested they kiss, and not Aang. At the time, he even seemed a little unsure of what to say, whereas Katara got her point across that she wanted to kiss him xD Katara also is always the one to kiss Aang on the cheek; we never see it returned. By the end of season two, especially in the Guru, it is apparent that Aang has matured to the extent where he is willing to put love before power.
But it always seemed to me that Aang had the crush at first, but Katara fell in love first.

I'd fight against that. I don't think that's what made her fall in love, I think that's what made her think that it's possible that she gets together with Aang and he isn't just a sweet little kid.

ummmm....*hands kataang an anti-zutara/taang arguement shield , since Aang NEEDING katara seems to be their main arguement ATM* Wait, wait, how is that an arguement? Doesn't the dependance on another for emotional support sort of BOLSTER a relationship? *ish in a state of utter confuzzlement* I swear, I miss being a 13-year-old squee-fest about Kataang sometimes...at lease then there wasn't a shipwar (if there was, I certainly wasn't involved in it...)
