He often helps his pupil, Yomi play and raise Chiko, another monk, and will play games and do tricks for the little Airbender. Also from all the research that he gathered from reading texts on the constellations he knows several folk tales and myths and has been know to gather quite a crowd when he tells stories during the cold winter months.
History: Tang was Tien and Ju’s only son out of five girls. He was born into a rather well known family in Air Nomad culture and was around six when Tien notice that Tang could airbend and was thusly donated to the Southern Air Temple
Tang was one of Monk Gyastso’s laziest students. He didn’t practice hard nor did study for the bending exams. He was often discovered in the library reading or looking over ancient texts. He did airbend when we was motivated and passed most of his tests and examinations, but the only time he actually work his butt off in anything was arithmetic and astronomy, would spend hours with the head monk of he Astronomy Tower, Wei Jiang, star positions, movements of them and calculating their positions. So it was no surprise when he became a master and full monk of the temple that he chose to study in the Astronomy Tower and become the successor to Wei Jiang.
Tang was also the one to discover Chiko abandon outside in the woods, he took care of the scrawny youth with Yomi until the child was inducted as a monk. Since then has been carefully watching Yomi raise and nurture the young bender.
As of late, Tang has been looking at many of the stars positions and he has been planning to take Bai Dong, as young monk as his pupil….until…something arises.
Likes: Green tea with honey, fleece blankets, Kuro his lemur, Chiko’s laughter and singing, and taking naps in the sun
Dislikes: noisy benders, fighting, Chiko walking him up in the middle of the night; Wei Jiang, miscalculations, Mao’s pranks
