I absolutely adore how close these two characters are, Iroh is the perfect sedative to Zuko's constantly flaring temper. After the Day of Black Sun and Suko's little run in with Daddy-dearest, I would hope he has new perception as to who matters in life and who doesn't. Iroh has always loved his nephew... and he tells him so during the Siege of the North (part I) as Zuko is leaving Zhao's ship.

Irko Leader Endless: The scene you described woule be so beautiful to see, it would certainly make me shed a tear, and I expect something very close to that to happen. Zuko and Iroh will be reunited, they have a bond that can't be broken. They are truely father and son; I cannot wait to see this reunion. My heart beats faster just thinking of it. Zuko knows what is important now, and Iroh is at the top of that list!

I'm looking forward to their reunion, too. I think Irko Leader Endless has a good point about that line not having come up yet, and that maybe it will when they get back together. I believe Iroh will be very proud of Zuko for finally having realized which path he should take, and taking it. They definitely have a bond that can't be broken. As to Zuko crying, tho, there was one other time that hasn't been mentioned yet--when Ursa was talking to Zuko during the throne room scene in Zuko Alone. So I guess that makes...four times in all. I'm betting there will be at least one more, perhaps during the Irko reunion. Which is fine by me.

Yeah, and in the flashback in The Storm. I can't blame him, though. *hugs Zuko* But can you Nandi? if your really like Toph, you would punch zuko in the arm and tell him to snap out of it. Dude! Look at the quote... I didn't say that! But Toph has hugged people...I'm sure she, and I could find it in us to hug Zuko...

I know that you didnt say that... I was just curious how you would act around zuko if he turned on the water works. Sorry...misunderstanding... I'm not sure...I guess it would depend on what it was for. I felt for him when he found out his mum might still be alive, but I thought he was being a bit of a drama-queen when he was screaming at the sky to strike him. But I don't know if I'd hug...I'd test the personal boundaries first with a hand on his arm, an empathic look. After that, if I felt he needed it, and that he'd be receptive...I'd probably hug him...

Awwww how adorable! *hearteyes* nandireya, I was going to post that very image, but apparently you are one step ahead! Once again! <3 Here is something I wrote up in the dead of night, sence why it is so crappy. This is based on a future Role Play scene between me and Kunichi, (Bestfriend) and that is why they both refer to one another as 'Father/Son'. -Iroh clinched his son medallion in one hand, Zuko's still form gently in the other. He wasn't breathing, which worried Iroh greatly. Qin, a commander, no, a war minister now, he mentally corrected, tried to take his life, and Zuko placed his own up for sake to protect him. Foolish boy, he thought as he pounded on Zuko's unmoving chest. He must get this from his mother. It had happened far too quickly for Iroh to prevent. Zuko had driven his sword into the ground, allowing it to crack open, sending both him and Qin tumbling down into the icy water below. Such a noble effort, trying to end his suffering, ‘One way or another.’ Zuko’s last words played through his head, again and again, leaving a string of guilt echoing through Iroh's heart. It was only a few minutes afterwards that he had found the Prince's body washing up on shore, but to Iroh it felt like an eternity Beads of hot liquid ran down the old general's face, rather it was sweat or tears, he did not know. The only thing he knew however was that he, the great Dragon of the West, the once heroic leader of the Ba Sing Se siege was terrified for his son's life. I cannot fail again, I swore I wouldn't...not after— His own thoughts were jarred from his mind the moment he heard Zuko start coughing up water, and perhaps blood, from his lungs. A smile graced Iroh's lips the moment he saw the young Prince open his tried eyes. "Father..." He spoke out in a weakened voice, "Don't ever go down a waterfall....it isn't...fun..." The smile never left the Dragon's lips.- R/R please. Tell me what you think, and just how stupid and winded that sounds. Haha. Since my ability for writing has returned, expect to have me randomly upload these on the board. ;P

Taiyo: Ah! Thank you lovely! That makes me happy and all giggly! Now, here is another one I wrote over the corse of two days. It's highly, highly based on the whole 'Zuko, I am your father!' theory. Hopefully it will be enjoyable, and not too stupid. Remember my Irkoloves, R/R please! ^^ *hug* -A cry of terror rang out from the Dragon Bone Catacombs, a place long forgotten by the royal family, most of the Fire Nation even. He had not known what gotten into his mind to venture below into the darkness once more. Maybe I believe Azula far too easily. He thought back, he recalled when his sister made the simple suggestion where the sages kept the history of the family, “Everything you could possible think of about our family lies in secret there, Zuzu, maybe you should check it out, who knows what you’ll find…” Came her voice in the dead of night, as the prince seemed, once again, lost within his torn thoughts. The perfect time to take advantage of me… For what reason would he have going back there again? He had already learned more about his family then he wanted to, after the shock with Avatar Roku-- “I bet they have hidden thousands of files down there about mother…” More trickery, and even more mind games. And yet his own curiosity for learning more about his beloved mother’s past, overpowered his own common sense about Azula. How little of that it may be. The place was dusty, old and run down, even so it did not take the Prince long to find handfuls of deserted scrolls on Princess Ursa’s early life, when she first came to the Fire Nation Palace. Hours past before Zuko found anything of interest. He constantly threw down scroll after scroll in frustration, before a singed piece of black paper broke apart from one of the oldest chapters. How…strange, He thought in a confused matter, the page was worn out, and crumbling even as he held it in his grasp. It was clearly burned, but still manageable to deceiver. It’s almost like some deliberately wanted to destroy it. More thoughts flashed within his mind of why. The chapter was about Ursa’s first days at the palace, or from what he could tell, and it spoke of how she was utterly lost in the flood of the royal family, Prince Ozai especially. Having been arranged to marry him, she had found that her future husband was, more or less cold when it came to showing his love. Oh great, it’s just another history everyone already knows. Zuko shrugged, this was getting him nowhere. His eyesight hovered down near the bottom, where his Uncle’s name was half burned. Why would Uncle’s name be here if this is about—His thoughts were stripped from him, he wasn’t aware of where this would lead him. “Prince Iroh became close friends with Ursa; he took it upon himself to be her guide in the capital. She felt safe beside him, he had a peaceful nature about him, more so then Ozai. It wasn’t until later that their relationship developed into something... stronger. Over time, Ursa, now baring the title of Princess, gave birth to a healthy son who was named Zuko. Ozai beamed with pride when he received this news, he now had an heir to the throne. However, the Prince was in a war meeting that evening and was in no condition to leave to see his son, so he demanded that his older brother would go in his place.
Ozai never gave thought to the fact that his son was not his to begin with. As Ursa watched him grow from a young child, she however knew the truth; the truth that could have both of them killed instantly if Ozai ever came to know, that Prince Zuko was General’s Iroh’s child.”Zuko dropped the scroll in an instant he read the final sentence, his eyes widening with each passing moment, and a scream that rattled the very depths of the catacombs. His Uncle Iroh, the one that stood by him since the beginning, who watched over him through difficult times, the scarring, banishment, all the troubles he’s went through, It all makes sense now!! Was his father.[/u]-
