Yes...I do believe that would have been grounds for a forfeit...hardly a one on one grudge match when you attack a spectator. Even when the writers decide to shove a Distress Ball into Katara's arms making her look like a complete idiot? (And yeah, I guess I blame her and the writers for it; at least Zuko and Azula stayed within character unlike Katara who just suddenly appears despite not being seen otherwise throughout the fight. They even made a point before the fight started that Zuko was going at Azula alone.) Anyway, I've mentioned a trope and this is now the wrong place to discuss this. I want a motivational poster with... Bumi! Please? |

And why did they have to do it anyway? It was Zuko's fight! Azula had bettered and belittled him his entire life and when he finally has the upper hand the writers call a time out and hand the honour of her take-down to their golden-girl! Just one of my many levels of disappointment in the finale.

Aha~! Awesome.  I will never understand the popularity of the animated undersea sponge. And I was in HS in its hay-day. I should love it. (The squid is possibly the only enjoyable part. B/c he plays an oboe.) Oh, and I'm guessing it's because they couldn't go through the whole finale and make sure that every major character has a poignant battle moment. The fact that the old masters was the only bit of the finale I really enjoyed without digressing into a 10-yr-old mindset is not a good thing. |

Arguably Ozai's airship happened after Aang got Avatar Yangchen's dispensation "to do whatever it takes to protect the world". Wiping out the Fire Nation Navy in the siege of the north may have been considered if not for the fact that he was merged with an angry Ocean Spirit intent on some serious payback. |

If you don't see them, they don't exist! So it was only the airships that Sokka, Suki and Toph took out that had crews. Ozai's had Auto-Pilot.
