noblebender: You too?! I actually said, out loud, "Hey, I like this guy!" ...Literally five seconds later, he dies. I've been cursed with favorite-character-death for years now. If I have a favorite character who isn't the protagonist, they're destined to die. And Frank is probably going to die. Which fails, because I love him. He was the only one of the four 'main' freighter characters not to be added to the main cast list. This new episode raised a lot of new questions. I can't wait for next Thursday. =)

"Yeah, I was just thinking 'this captain is pretty cool. he's going to be so much help.' So maybe its not just you.....happens to me a lot too." " noblebender: You too?! I actually said, out loud, "Hey, I like this guy!" ...Literally five seconds later, he dies. I've been cursed with favorite-character-death for years now. If I have a favorite character who isn't the protagonist, they're destined to die. " Sorry, I couldn't quote you both. I really said, out loud, "I like him." No less than thirty seconds later, he gets shot. It's nicee to know it's not just me! I have this great story: Okay, so I'm at a friend's house and we're watching this movie. I liked this guy, and whenever I called my friend's attention to the screen, he was gone. I'd be like, "Look!" And she'd turn around and he'd be gone. This happened about three times. So he finally comes on screen and I turn to her and say, "That's him! That's the guy I like!" And he gets hanged. XD EDIT: The couple in Los Angeles that are supposed to raise Aaron are Kate and Sawyer. In Something Nice Back Home Hurley tells Jack that Jack is not supposed to raise Aaron. Hurley does not say that Kate is not supposed to raise Aaron. In this episode when Locke asks Claire where Aaron is, Christian answers that Aaron is where he's supposed to be. Sawyer currently has Aaron, thus, Sawyer is supposed to take care of Aaron. Kate and Sawyer are the couple. How interesting is that? I just found that.

That would be a VERY interesting theory! I like it a lot. For some reason when Christian said that Aaron was where he needed to be I thought that he just meant for him to sit in the jungle.....DX Eh, Frank's not that interesting to me. Don't care for him as much as Daniel and Miles. Charlotte isn't my favorite, but she seems to bring more to the table than Frank. EDIT:Okay this is really weird (I don't think I posted it before - sorry if I did - I'm just listening to a song and it reminded me) but whenever I hear a Lifehouse song I think of Charlie and sometimes cry. DX The lead singer reminds me of Charlie because he has the died blonde hair, sings in a band, and I thought he was British, but he's not. They look kind of similar. (Guy in middle) When they get to the chorus of a lot of the songs I start to see a montage of Charlie jumping out of the boat and swimming down to the hatch and thinking of Claire. I get really sad......

Ehh...it's been so long since Lost was on..... It feels like forever... So we're going to find out who is in the coffin. It was revealed that one of these 7 is in it and what I think of them is below: Ben Desmond Sayid Richard Alpert Sawyer Locke Jacob I've thought Ben for a while. I want it to be him and I also don't. If it is Ben, I hope he dies a lot later (like near the end of the series) because I think he should be around for a lot longer. We need answers. But if this person dies soon, I don't want it to be Ben. I don't think it would be Jacob or Alpert. They seem to be there to throw us off. Jack wouldn't have met either if he gets off the island next episode. I just don't think it's Locke. It just doesn't make sense to me. I don't think it's Sawyer either because I don't think he'll be off the island. It could be Sayid in that he has no one to come, but I think Jack would've considered him a friend and Kate would have gone as well. Unless they find out about him working for Ben and get really angry, but I doubt it. Desmond being on the list really scares me. I never considered him before, but now it seems like a possibility. He's on the freighter and I think the 6 are getting picked up from the freighter. He could be rescued very soon. Widmore could cover it up so Penny didn't know. The one thing that is against it being Des is Jack's reaction and Kate as well. I think both Jin and Des could die on the freighter, which would make me so sad. Interesting that Michael is off the list though. Source

I feel......almost disappointed. I was expecting such a big twist like last season and it never came. It is interesting that Locke came to see them all of the island, but calling him Jeremy Bentham was weird. I guess they were protecting the island or something, but in private, couldn't they have said Locke? I don't think Jin is dead and I really hope Desmond comes back! I wonder what the setup of all the future episodes will be now. Will the storylines go from the island to the Six in present time and then on top of that a flash?

*ignores kaneda*
HOLY FRACKEN GAWDDD!
I just saw it.
Disappointed? How the frack can you be disappointed?
There were so many times that I verbally yelled. or teared up.
Now, I love the fathers... I really feel for them. So when Jin and Michale died in one go... I cried... My mental manly shell was fractured when the boat blew up, and I starded to tear up. But when Sun started screaming and crying... that did it for me, and I had to let out a sob.
When Sawyer and "freckles" reunited, my heart swelled. you could see it in their smiles. They really missed eachother. (yes, I am a "skater", even though it may seem the equivalent of zutara.)
I loved Locke... his mannerisms, his concern for the people on the boat, his confidence... really looks like he has found his way again. And S1 Locke is about the coolest thing ever.
Penny/Desmond... again, the heart swelled. I so happy that they got to be together.
Assassin Syiede(Cant spell) and mad Hurley... Love. And Is hurley really insane? We all know that he is one of the "special" ones on the island. And we know that Kate and Jack have had brief encounters with the dead people of the island... perhaps Hurley's "specialness" allows him to converse casually with these types of people while not under situations of stress?
Also, with Jack gone, we all know that Sawyer is going to replace him as "leader" of the beach group.
Sun contacting Whitmore like that... is she planning to take him down from the inside out? trying to use him to get back to the island? or use him to get back at Ben?
Are they going to need older walt to get back to the island? he is also one of the "special" ones.
Is Locke really dead for good? we know the island has healed him before, we know he is one of the "special" ones, and we know that Ben thinks he needs to go back
So... whatever Christian Shepperd is, he is not a puppet for the island... at least not it the Zombie sense... he could be on a different plane of existence though... but its not just his soul though, they made a point of showing us his body was missing.
But with a good guy, leading the beach people. And a good guy leading "the others" what happened that was so horrible that Loke would travel off of the island... did he just leave the island like Ben did in the past, or did actually have to "move" the island again.
Is Ben planning on comming back?
It has been thought that the island moves to one of the "special" spots on the globe. that has high levels of energy or magnetism. Like the place that Rose went for her cancer. We also know that moving the island is verry dangerous... Is is possible that the island moved to a place on land... that it is no longer an island... But a place in some woods, that nobody will be able to find or escape like "the blair witch project"?
We now know that there was a place for the polar bears to keep cool. We now know Why Ben was wearing that coat and where he got that cut.
well... thats all I have for now.

I'm sure Michael's dead, but the Christian Shepard thing was weird there. I may have missed a bit because right when Shepard came in my mom yelled "Who's that?!" -_______- She's been watching since the beginning and still can't figure stuff like that out. Like when Keamy came down into the Orchid, she did the same thing. But Jin... I just feel like he made it far enough off of the boat to survive. Sun believes he's dead, so she doesn't have to lie about that, but I really think he survived. She looked like she was in more pain here than when she was giving birth. I don't understand her motives with Widmore at all though. I thought Oceanic was in on the lie. I never thought that Locke suggested it in the first place. We'll have to see more of Penny and Des because Ben's after Penny. I hope we see Desmond protecting Penny. I thought Sawyer was going to die for sure. Wouldn't it be awesome if him, Jin, and Michael had all survived and met up in the water like they had been stranded after the raft exploded at the end of S1 (or was it S2? Those two blur together a lot for me. ) And now since the island was moved and the helicopter crashed anyway, they could've gone back for Jin. I thought the Walt actor changed - he looked so different. The ones that'll have to go back are Jack, Kate, Sun, Sayid, Hurley, Aaron, Locke, and Walt. Now that Kate saw Claire, getting Aaron back will be a problem. How weird will it be to have a 4 year old on the island. A baby is one thing, but a 4 year old? And HOW is Aaron not getting a sunburn?! He's so pale and they can't put sunblock on him. Kate could shield him, but SOME sun would get to him. I think Locke is dead for good. We'll get plenty of him next season. I wonder what it felt like to be on the island when it moved. I'll write more later...... need to watch The Soup!

^^I've seen him type that so many times. I like your Pepper Ann reference there. I want them to continue the flashbacks or even flashforwards like they used to with only one episode per person. Are there actually going to be present day storylines of the Six or are we only going to get flashes of them? It will be weird if the show's about people on an island and there's people off the island, but I definitely prefer that. We need a Sawyer and Claire flashback. Sawyer hasn't got one since 304 and Claire hasn't got one since 312. It might be too late for Claire though. It seems like she did die in the explosion a few episodes ago.

I'm still on season 1, watching quite slowly. A lot of people I know say it jumps the shark when the plot becomes a clusterf***. I'm only semi-interested at the moment, but then again, I don't really mind clusterf*** plots.

I wouldn't say it jumps the shark at all - the plot just goes in a different direction. Season 1 is a lot about fearing the unknown and you continue to learn more about the unknown, but they're still scared. Every season just changes a lot with Dharma, the Others, the freighter, and flash forwards, but I think they're getting better, not jumping the shark. I get confused about concepts like the time travel and Jacob, but I figure that by the end it'll all be explained and I shouldn't worry about figuring it out now when it's impossible. After season 1, there was no way I could stop watching.
