Yeah, I don't know how you could read all these spoilers. If I knew everything that happened in the show I wouldn't be nearly as interested either. There were so many questions in S1 that we know the answers to now, but back then, I couldn't stop watching until we got every answer possible. I don't see how you could understand what we're talking about either when from what you've watched, the identity of the Others is a mystery.

I don;t have any idea what anyone is talking about when they go on about spoilers. I try to avoid spoilers, but when I don't manage to, the lack of context makes it barely a problem.
Cept Charlie dying. Some people had Charlie memorial sigs then, and I was all "raaaaaage."

Well, I wouldnt really say Ben "controlls" the monster. He did tell the others to run away from it, and he did himself after saying goodbye to his daughter.
He more summoned it I think, just told the security system that there was a threat.

The tailies suck. Did Oceanic have some sort of "all douches to the back of the plane" policy?

Bernard wasn't technically a tail-y. He was, unfortunately for him, in the back to the bathroom on the moment the plane crashed. Otherwise he would've been with Rose in the front of the plane. But I agree with you that Bernard wasn't bad. I actually like that Rambo man.

Bernard is a reference to "Watchmen" so that makes him pretty cool.
And I guess the tailies don't suck. Just Ana Lucia.

I didn't like Mr Eko. I didn't enjoy his flashbacks and thought the church thing was weird. I always forget Bernard was a tailie, and I like him. Ana Lucia was horrible and I didn't like Libby, but I want to know about her still!

O MY FRACKEN GOD. I just listened to the latest podcast... and it hit me. We know that Jack is going to bring Jhon back to the island. We know that the last time jack put a body in a coffin and brought it to the island, that body took a walk and became a significant force on the island. We know that Jacob Is the main leader of "the others" we know that that is the role that the show has been pushing john towards. We know that Jachob looks like Loke. We Know that Jonh was unable to communicate directly with Jacob, but we do not know why. I belive the reason is it would create a spiritual and time paradox. Jack brings John back to the island and johns, spirit of being fuses with the island and becomes jachob as the leader of the island, or even the island itself, only he exists outside of the normal paramaters of time/space... Its a work in progress... but im really excited about this theory. EDIT: listed to at least the latest podcast www.hawaiiup.com/lost/

That sounds like a good theory but first we need an answer of WHAT Christian actually is. And all of the other dead people who have appeared too. There are just so so so many possibilities of what's happening that one thing could throw an entire theory off. The electromagnetic force, time travel, the black smoke, and the island's healing powers all could play different roles in the outcome of the show, but we have no idea right now. It's hard to come up with any theories at all, but that's definitely a good one. There has to be some sort of connection between Locke and Shepard both being brought to the island by Jack.

No I haven't listened to any Lost podcasts lately. My podcasts are overwhelming me lately. I have to catch up on some Harry Potter ones, a new Zutara one, and I'm a bit behind for Lost. I think I'm going to catch up again when I'm running cause I really need to. Wait - I'm confused on what season we're on. We just saw season 4 and there's going to be 6 right? Yeah that's 2/3....... The first 2 blend together so much to me that I get confused. Season 1 was just the Losties being scared (was Desmond in the end of that or not?), S2 the tailies were introduced and the Others too, but I can't remember the season finale, Season 3 they were in cages or was it 4......... Ah I have to go look this up and get everything straight. EDIT: I swear I just heard the whispers.

Season 1 was more like the introduction of the series. We got to know the backgrounds of the characters and they gave a mysterious aura to the island. It ended with Walt being kidnapped by the others and the hatch being opened with the dynamite. Season 2 was more delving into the mysteries of the island, imo. The tailies were introduced like you said. It ended with two Desmond-centric episodes (his relationship with Penny ♥) where the hatch got imploded and thus exposing the location of the island. Season 3 was when Jack, Sawyer and Kate were with the others because Jack had to save Ben. Sawyer and Kate got locked up in the cages. It was mostly about the others and finishing off most of the background stories. The season finale was "Through the Looking Glass", where Charlie died and with a flashforward of Jack. Season 4 began with the group splitting up in team Jack, who wanted rescue and team John, who wanted to stay on the island. It was mostly about the freighter people, the possible rescue and what happens to the Ocean Six in the future. Now there's only a season 5 and a season 6 left.
