Okay, this is definitely the best new show this season. My review, in case you care, is here. The first episode will rerun tonight at 8 on ABC.

^.^ Tek, you write such good reviews. I like your synopsis of "Reaper," too.

^_^ Thanks, Chibi. I just hope to inspire people to watch... but I think my review of Pushing Daisies is better than my reviews normally are. Though perhaps too spoilery...

I watched the first episode! It looks so cute.
I cannot wait for more. I hope they don't cancel it, they cancelled a good show before, I don't know if anyone else watched it, I think it was "Surface"?
Anywhoo, Pushing Daisies looks good.

I saw the pilot for Pushing Daisies at Comic-con and decided right then and there that it was going to be the best new show of the season and that it was probably going to get cancelled after 6 episodes. It's just that good. Here's hoping for a long run of amazingness and for the promised Kristen Chenoweth singing scene.

Oh, I saw the pilot the other night and just fell in love with it. Simply fell in love. Quirky, sweet, with a nice dose of sarcasm (Chi McBride's presence is a nice balance to all the sweetness) - I hope it sticks around. And yep, the guy who plays Ned is a cutie.

Hehe, sorry, didn't find this thread! Anyway, I'm going to reply to something BB said in my other thread: Well, since this is a Bryan Fuller show, it doesn't seem to have much of a chance. All of his shows are awesome, yet they all get canceled. I hope people will be smart and actually watch stuff that isn't trying to imitate reality. Seriously...why do people want to watch real life? Ugh. AGH I KNOW. And I never knew Bryan Fuller shows never had a chance in network television! I just hope that they won't cancel this, I really do. I'd get pretty depressed if they do.

I didn't actually know the name Bryan Fuller, so I just looked him up. And on IMDb, right after Pushing Daisies it says Heroes. Which I think is doing quite well.
I also wanted to say that while watching the second episode, it started reminding me of something Douglas Adams would have written. Which is about the highest compliment I can imagine...

Thank you!!! I could not figure out what this show reminded me of, I think that it also has a bit of Rohl Dahl rolled in it as well. I really love this show

It looks incredibly stupid. I mean, if you manage to get past the title, the sheer campiness willl surely get you.
TRY TO BE A LITTLE MORE CONSTRUCTIVE WITH YOUR CRITICISM. Your post is just trolling the thread. Thanks.

I mean, if you manage to get past the title, the sheer campiness willl surely get you. ^ You know... I believe that's exactly why I like the premise so much. There's a subtle, self-referential humor in the campiness. Looking forward to hearing more about this show. ^.^

I really enjoy this show. The world is so artificial, cheerful and colorful, like that Amelie Poulain movie but not as sugar-coated as it was, and yet everything fell right in place. The voiceover is really doing an amazing work. I enjoy all the episodes so far and I hope they could keep up in the following episode. But didn't the creator Bryan Fuller do Dead Like Me ? He sure has a thing to spice up death and put life in relief by so.

I frigging love this show so much!! Ned is too cute for words and kristin chenoworth is amazing. The girl who plays chuck is great too.
My favorite episode so far has been the episode with the Jockeys... but now that I think of it the most recent episode with the candy shop and everything was hilarious too.
