I still have trouble blaming the Earth King...I mean c'mon, Sokka made them seem so trustworthy
Maybe the dumbest action in Avatar was Sokka drinking the cactus juice...that caused more than a few problems haha

The dumbest action in Avatar was Aang running away by myself. 100 years of war and the genocide of an entire race of people should be proof enough of that.

I chose other, because of the return to Ba Sing Se scene. You know when Toph was earth bending her way to the capital and Sokka says, "Need a ride?" She looks up and collapses in the earth, that was stupid of her, but funny all the same.

I voted Something Else, My Reason - Sokka, in Avatar day, crying like a baby about his boomeraang, and acting all detectivity all throughout the Epi -_-

I think Aang was stupid in leaving the Guru. It only would have taken another 15 minutes to master the last Avatar State thing. Katara was bonding with Zuko anyway, she easily could have waited. Then, master of the Avatar state, Aang could have PoOnEd in the final duel scene.

Yea. When the Earth King totally blabbed about that stuff to the "Kyoshi Warriors" ...I was just like "WHAT KINDA KING ARE YOU?!?!" (sigh) So dumb...

Still going to say this....It wasn't the earth kings fault...look at in is own title epiode...sokka said that the kyoshi warriors are most trustfull and plus maybe he thought they might join the earth army in the invason toward the fire nation.

I disagree that what the Earth King did was dumb. He had the Avatar and co vouching for the trustworthiness of the Kyoshi warriors and emphasising how much help they would be against the fire nation. If anything, it was dumb for the gaang to vouch for them without even meeting up with them first. They knew about Azula's tactics, but the Earth King didn't. For that matter, why didn't they bother telling him about Azula?

stupidest moment by far - zuko finds aang's flyer about appa being lost. said flyer CONTAINS AANG'S ADDRESS. zuko goes about trying to kidnap appa. instead of, you know, showing up at aang's house and kidnapping aang.

Aang making a new zoo in BBS without permission. More likely than not with all the bureaucracy in BSS the Dai Lee would have come in the next day and flattened it while throwing the zoo keeping in jail (possibly brain wash) for not paying for his permit.

I'm also surprised no one brought up Zuko lighting the lamps on his date with Jin.

You do realize that you're overanalysising a show what was aimed at 12 year olds and taking out all the fun of watching it

You do realize that you're overanalysising a show what was aimed at 12 year olds and taking out all the fun of watching it (a) how is this overanalyzing it? and (b) how does this take the fun out of it? we're just listing moments that make us *headdesk*. ah, but technically that zoo was outside the walls, so it wasn't in BSS.

It was outside the inner wall, but inside the outer wall. And why does saying that out loud make my tongue twist? So technically it's still in Ba Sing Se
Also, overanalysing things IS fun. You should hear some of my theories on Gummi Bears and Ducktales (not to mention my sixty page analysis of Irken Culture and history based on Invader Zim)

Yes, but seriously? Does it really matter I mean. What if Aang did master the Avatar State and paddled Azula, what if Zuko didn't light the candles? I mean? It's their mistakes that make this show fun. I shows them that they are not cut out characters and they do have flaws. <<; Seriously I have to the only one that doesn't care that Kuei spilled the beans. It gave reader irony and twisted the plot. Everyone that voted that Kuei pulled a stupid move should stick to watching gag-cartoons, and leave the plot cartoons alone. Because some does not know reader irony, or character irony.
