The name says it all whether it's a major role like Toph's and Teo's or a minor role, I really hope to see reoccurring characters with disabilities, who will also continue to contribute to the awesomeness that is Legend of Korra. For a more elaborate reason(s): art-diary.tumblr.com/post/21361280682LOK wouldn't be complete without them (in my opinion ^~^), like how A:TLA wouldn't be complete without Toph and Teo.

I agree A:TLA definitely would not feel complete without Toph and Teo. Maybe we could see a handicapped satomobile driver or something. With how the avatar world has grown it will be interesting to see how characters with disabilities live in it.

Yeah. Since Bryke wasn't shy about it in ATLA, I'm sure we'll see some characters in LOK. Especially with how industrialized the city is, and the turf wars as well, I would be surprised if there weren't work-related accidents. Personally I would love to know how sign language would translate to the Avatar world as well.

I hope we get to see something like that in Korra. I don't know why, but I definitely want to see jazz musicians (it is technically based in the 1920's after all ) influenced by Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles, and also, instead of a physically impaired bender, there could be an introduction of a physically impaired non-bender (who will still kick-butt in the series).

I'm all for this. Any take by Bryke and co. on a new character even one with disabilities has always been interesting and original so far.
