I thought maybe the movie could use a LITTLE positive though it was mostly disappointing lol. ):
Also, I ended up not including everyone from the list on the Worst Actors thread because I felt only these characters had enough (or even any at all) lines to really make them worthy of being chosen. The actor who played Gyatso for instance only appeared a handful of times and didn't have ANY lines, for example.
In my opinion though, I think either Shaun Toub or Dev Patel were the best actors. I was kinda skeptical about Patel being cast considering I had always pictured Zuko to be more East Asian and not so much Indian, but I definitely can see Patel as Zuko now, and I thought he did a good job considering the development and firebending plot hole lulz.
But I think I'm going to vote for Toub lol.

Fail, I can't decide over Dev or Shaun.

You have no idea how much it sucks that I can't join in on all the discussions because Paramount have decided not to share the movie with us yet hoping it'll do better for them during our next lot of school holidays.
Bah! I'm gonna go watch Zoolander...

Also between Zuko and Iroh. But I'll go with Iroh because at times I just didn't believe Zuko's anger. Most of the time I was fine with him, but sometimes it looked a bit forced. I didn't have many problems with Iroh though, besides not looking big and jolly enough, but that doesn't have to do with his acting.

Well...can't judge them in this movie so I'll go on what I know of them from elsewhere...
I loved Shaun in Iron Man. And Dev was such a sweetie in Slumdog Millionaire. All of seen of Jackson is those dang Twilight things and I don't want to judge him on those. I've only seen Aasif in bit parts (in Ghost Town and The Proposal)...and the rest...I don't know them from some random guy in the street.
So I guess I'm in the same boat as the majority...Shaun and Dev.

performance-wise, i think that Shaun, Dev, and Seychelle did the best with what they had to read off of. Eventhough i think that Noah did very well for his first time being in front of a camera, i'm going to have to go with Shaun Toub. He didn't have a really major role but with every scene he was a very accurate Uncle Iroh (w/ the exception of being fat) and believable. He never wavered from his character and how he was feeling *cough*unlikeAastif*cough*
