And then there's the plot points they made such a big deal about...and never mentioned again...
Iroh's trip to the Spirit World...
Zuko being Roku's great-grandson...
Song's sad departing look...
I haven't even seen it yet and I'm not happy...
But then, I'm never happy...

Yes, I think a Cross link that will lead to the next saga that might be looked at soon, unless the Live Action Movie leads to something with the other missing characters, that is how I see it.

But didn't Mike and Bryan say that this was the end of Aang and Zuko's stories?

I think they should have a Avatar DVD explaining what happened with some of those stories & things un-mentioned.
*cough*...URSA...*cough* XD

Well, I gotta say,
I wasn't this disappointed in a series finale since the anime finale of Rurouni Kenshin, which is my favorite anime.
That's saying a lot.

^Maybe the next season will take place in the future and they'll do some flashbacks? Or some kind of explaining....
EDIT: Or the next season will follow Zuko and Aang's stories. I mean, they also said that Zuko would look for Ursa in season 3....WHICH HE DIDN'T!

The finale was a little of a disappointment to me. I really hoped more questions were answered and not made. It was very anti-climatic.
I had wanted to know if Aang really was the last air bender and if any of the air benders might have survived the attacks. They knew they would be attacked, so they could have prepared.

But didn't Mike and Bryan say that this was the end of Aang and Zuko's stories? Well we still got time to look this over, because even though this saga has ended we still other characters that have yet to make much coverage, as well as Smellerbee and Longshot are concerned.

I feel everyone's pain. I REALLY wanted more closure. They have to have an Avatar special episode which ties everything together. The only thing to look forward to now is the new incarnation series "confirmed" on Avatar: The Last Air Bender wikipedia page where they follow a new/different incarnation of the Avater (past or future?)

I hope Zuko gets his own spin-off series where he travels the world disguised as the Blue Spirit searching for his mother and fighting crime.

I am also wondering ABOUT THIS SCENE: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkSTqY40MgUSo is there more!? I don't think they'd make footage like that just for a commercial, this show is so expensive to animate! I hope there's more! I need closure! WHERE IS URSA!?!

But didn't Mike and Bryan say that this was the end of Aang and Zuko's stories? Yes, they did.... but I can't remember what interview they said that in. In any case, I'm not surprised they left things the way they did concerning Ursa. What I find hard to believe is that M & B expect that after everything that Ozai is and has done, that he will just tell Zuko where she is. I find it more likely that he will withhold that information from Zuko, if for no other reason than to spite Zuko and torture him with the possiblity that she is alive, but will never find her. After all, it is all the power he has left, and as power-mad as he is, I expect he will hold on to it as he has nothing left to lose now. I would have loved to hear Ozai's response to Zuko's question. Ah, but that is what fanfiction is for, I guess. There is one other thing that was left unresolved... Toph's crush on Sokka. It was fairly obvious that Sokka and Suki are a couple now, but how does Toph feel about this? I guess we will never know..... Personally, I wouldn't mind the series continuing beyond this point, but I doubt it will happen in an animated series form. Perhaps a comic book series? I might get back into collecting again if they did. Oh well, wishful thinking I assume. Your thoughts?

Now that Zuko's in charge she may very well just come back on her own...
