Given what it says under your name and rank I don't know if you want to...but suffice to say, I dislike it so much I have already decided not to see the movies because I don't want to have to sit through it again (I already don't watch the episodes that feature it).

Episodes that feature what? And I'm boycotting the movies cuz they will suck.

Gamergrl is marked as an "Honorary ______ Fan" under her name and ranking in the upper left corner of her post box. Fill in the blank and you have what Nand is referring to.
I'm with her on it, too. Personally, some moments I can bear watching, but that whole convo in The Headband-- the dialog either makes me regress to the immature razzing and gagging or break into laughter at the horribleness of the lines. XD
To be On topic a bit, I think, considering the lack of anything pertinent coming from SDCC, we are going to have to accept that most of these unresolved threads in the show are just plot holes, plain and simple. They *should* have been solved, but it doesn't look like they are going to be. At least, not in animated form.
I have hope for the live action movies. Say what you will about him, but Shyamalan wraps up his plots. He doesn't tend to leave loose-ends that shouldn't be. I can only hope he will sit down with Bryke and work through all the stuff for the third movie and wrap up things that need to be wrapped up.
Or at least, get a good look at the overall body of material and cut out stuff so that the loose ends don't form. Like, if they are not going to explain Iroh's trip to the Spirit World in the movies either, then hopefully M. Night will just keep it from being brought up in the first place. It can be done, since the trip apparently never had any real plot relevance.
If M Night (and Bryke, I suppose) are on their toes, we can at least have three LA movies without the plot holes of the series. There may not be new material to explain the stuff the series failed to(I wish there would be, but that's a bit much to ask for I think), but at least the movies we do get will tell the basic story and do so while keeping their structural integrity.

I just finished the book Stardust...and when you compare it to the movie...well...the basic plot is the same, but the journey is far different...some characters are completely omitted (the lead's step-mother and sister for example), others are totally altered and given more prominence (the pirate captain), scenes are left out, some are merged, some are changed to make things more exciting...the Avatar movies will no doubt do the same thing. I feel a lot of the secondary characters will go and the story altered so that the mains can perform their duties. I feel the movies will be a vastly different journey from point A to point B (and of course if Azula's friends are omitted I'll be a very happy camper )
