Avatar has changed me in many ways. It opened a new world for me, a world of online forums and fanfiction. A world of shipping wars and amazing fan art. Avatar has been there during hard times and has brought me closer to my sisters. It has driven me to work on art and writing. These past recent months have been hard, but avatar was there.

Lets just say, I am a 4th degree black belt in Tai Chi. I was in tae kwon doe for a while because of Avatar (only martial art school where I live). It closed down though.

It's really hard to imagine my life without avatar. It would be so empty and meaningless.

it has given me a voice and role model through Iroh. Seriously, that guy is so wise, his live lessions are things everyone can take to heart. iroh.org/wisdom.html

Oh, wow. I was just going to make this a board, but someone beat me to it!
I was a shy, quiet, sixth grader when I first turned on the TV on Feburary 21, 2005. I originally wasn't planning on watching the show, but instead using it as white noise as I worked on a collage. I sat with my collage on my lap, finding myself watching the show instead of working. Thanks to avatar, I've learned Chinese, just to read the caligraphy in the show. I made so many life-long friends because of Avatar. Now, I train in Karate and am planning to become and animator and make a show just as life changing as avatar!

The end of the finale is kind of becoming a motivator for me. With Zuko's speech, the strong bond of the gaang shown in Iroh's tea shop, peace; it really makes me want to go out and do something with my life.
