Name:[/b] Zoya (previously known as JiaLee before I changed it)
Age:[/b] 16
Gender:[/b] Female
Nation:[/b] Water (Southern Water Tribe)
Bender:[/b] Zoya wants to think that she's not a bender, but she has and can bend. For that matter, she can and has healed.
Appearance:[/b] Zoya is about 5’4 tall and is very skinny. She has tan skin and deep blue eyes that are a bit smaller than the average water tribe girl. More wider than taller. Her eyelids are a bit darker too. She has ebony hair where the top portion is kept into a small ponytail and the bottom portion into a braid. She also has long, (chin leng), wavy, sideswept, unkempt bangs.
Zoya usually wears her parka that’s around a “Carolina blue” color. The hood is rimmed with white fur and the bottom of the sleeves and the actual parka are rimmed with navy blue then white fur. At about her mid-waist there is a circular band that keeps the parka a little bit tight. The band is divided into two parts by a squiggly line. The upper portion is a dark purple and the bottom portion is a light purple. From the hood to the circular band, on her chest there are two vertical navy blue lines. She also wears baggy pants and thin, tan, fur boots.
Underneath her parka she wears a tight, navy blue long-sleeved shirt where the bottoms of the sleeves are also rimmed with a tiny bit of white fur. On top of the shirt she wears a “Carolina blue”, long, short-sleeved, v-necked tunic. The bottom of the tunic is rimmed with a bit of fur and is slit up to her mid-waist where there is another circular band. This circular band is just white fabric. The v-neck is rimmed with the same white fabric. She also wears navy blue tights with the same boots. But, now you can see more of the boots. They are covering about and inch of her ankle and are covered with a bit of fur.
Personality:[/b] Zoya is a shy person. She’ll only speak when needed. Most of the time she'll only talk to her mom and dad. Because of it she seems rather bland. She has never really had any friends either so when talking to anybody else than her family whatever she says doesn't turn out right.
She also very loyal and hates the FN.
History:[/b] Zoya was born and raised in the Southern Water Tribe. She had a mother, father, and an older brother at the time.
Straight from her first few years she was noted to be very active and playful. Most of her childhood days were spent the same. She would play with the other children and occasionally get in trouble. However, her mother and father were very strict and expected her to behave with a proper conduct. So when she was young, age six, they made her start doing household chores that women were expected to do.
All the kids of her age were still allowed to play all day, so when she did her chores, she felt very out of place. At first, she tried talking to older girls and some women but all they did was shoo her away and/or laugh at her. Because of the humiliation, Zoya kept to herself. Soon after time she lost her playfulness and learnt to stay that way.
Life proceeded as usual until when Zoya was 11 years old. There was a fire nation raid. Her mom at the time was pregnant too. The fire nation soldiers were strong and killing quickly. Most of the time Zoya was with her mother taking her from place to place.
There was a point in the raid where Zoya was cornered. There was only one firebender but since she was powerless it was a tough time not getting hit by blasts of fire. After five minutes of continuous dodging, she was finally hit. The burn was bad but she was still able to survive. She limped the rest of the time.
When the raid was over, she was finally sat down and tended to. It had seemed that the fire burned through most of her skin and was close to her stomach. But, after a month she was back to normal. It was hard for her to eat though.
Another important time in her life was when she recently turned 12. She was casually washing clothes when she started to water bend unknowingly. The water sliced her left leg. After realizing what had happened she started panicking but soon calmed down. She touched her leg again with her wet hands and the cut was healed. Zoya decided not to tell anyone of the incident because she was merely scared and wasn’t aware of what happened. Plus, she probably would have been scolded.
After wards her life continued as usual.
