I'm not meaning in a 'LET'S TURN IT INTO A J-POP ATROCITY'-type way. Basically, I think Katara's commentary on Aang ("He's got a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone") is kind of outdated at this point in the series. He saved the Northern Water Tribe from annihilation (okay, so he had a bit of help there), he's held his own against several people who were skilled enough to endanger his life ( , for one, S2 finale notwithstanding), and he's managed to save loads more people besides. So, I think they should change the opening to reflect the growth of his skills and character. Essentially, it should keep the part up until "An Airbender named Aang", then recount, in short form, how he's matured in the course of the series, and is now ready to face the Fire Lord. It'd also be really appropriate to use for the finale.

Yes but it's too late in S3 to do that.

I think it would be good if they did that but I kinda think Nick don't wanna spend the money on tweaking it......

They should have changed that part of the opening by season 2, but they didn't. I don't think they'll do it now. I think it would be good if they did that but I kinda think Nick don't wanna spend the money on tweaking it...... That wouldn't be the reason at all.

They will...
Remember think 1st episode "Boy in the Iceburg" started differently. Then after that it has been the same.
I bet that it will be the very last episode where something will be different. Katara will rant about the fire nation and probably say. "It's Time for Aang to save the world"

Ehhh, I don't think anything is gonna change. They already missed their chance, doing it now is a waste of time.

Well, the finale is tauted as a 2-hour TV movie, so maybe they will change the opening to reflect that...format?

J-Pop can never be an atrocity.
And naw. Too late in the season and series to do so.

it is kinda late in the season to change the intro, but they may change teh last episode like what avatarjanicki said, leaving the very first and very last episodes teh only different ones.

I think it would be cool if the last episode or the ones in the finale would be different than the rest. BUt money, time and the fact nick doesn't really care about Avatar due to what we've seen in the last few months. We probably might not get it. I won't hope on it, but who knows, we might still get a different intro soon.
