Her shred of humanity was seen in the beach episode, I think thats only because she was with fire nationers because she most likely believes everyone else is a lower species Actually, I think in her opinion, everyone is inferior, regardless if they're fire nation or not. And now I have to rewatch the beach episode and actually pay attention to what's going on.

That is true, she even said people should worship them to Ty Lee Azula: I guess I was intrigued. I'm so used to people worshipping us. Ty Lee: They should. Azula: Yes, I know, and I love it! But for once, I just wanted to see how people would treat us if they didn't know who we were. Plus she believes in the divine right to rule as can be seen in her exchange with Long Feng . I think the firenation royal family are seen as demi gods like the Emperor of Japan was, but I dont see Azula giving that up like he did

I have changed my mind. Azula is as good as dead.
This pretty much kills my exitement, I'm afraid. It was my number one reason for watching the show. Oh well.

^^Ah, the truth finally comes out... Have no fear, if she does die, it probably won't be till the very end anyways, so you won't have to suffer much Avatar w/o Azula.

But still, I wanted to see some development for her. And, at this point, redemption was the only possible way for that to happen. She now will never be anything worth rembering. She's now the most wasted character in avatar along with Iroh. Both had enough going for them to be good. It's shame that Zuko and Aange got to be the only worthwile characters.

Well Azula is getting a good development (imo) she's changing from the perfectionist controlling uberb!tch to showing her (very deep down) human side and loosing all that's important to her and shes going to be stripped bare and loose her mind in the process something I cannot wait to see and will be incredibly interesting.
And don't worry about us loosing our favourite character, she wont go down with out a fight and it will be incredible to watch

I know why she's crazy, and you all will know too because in The Boiling Rock part 2 Mai stated that she loved Zuko more than she feared Azula, and thus betrayed Azula to save Zuko. Mai then prepared to defend herself from Azula, which forced Ty Lee to decide that Mai was a better friend than Azula and to chi-block Azula (most likely saving Mai from death). Zuko's betrayal of the family wasn't surprizing and didn't affect her, knowing their past history of fighting, but the betray of both of her closest and most trusted friends made her parinoid and off-set her mind. Because of this, I would say that there is absolutly no chance of redemption.
