Haha, it brings joy to my heart seeing Azula spiraling down towards insanity!!! Even though that showdown between Mai and Azula wasn't a bloodbath, I was pretty tense up like Ty Lee man. I was like "OH SHIZ!!"
Overall, great episode, though there were things that ticked me off about this episode. One I wish Sokka mentioned something about searching for Suki to Zuko, but he never did. I mean heck, he went crazy over her during the invasion, when Azula spoke of her. Two, Zuko didn't seem worried or concern about Mai, instead he was like "Crap, We Need to Escape, AIRSHIP!!" Man I don't know why the boys of Avatar are so lucky.
Aang has got a girl older him. Zuko got a girl who would bust her chops for him and ditch her friends. Sokka, got a girl with a great personality and spunk. Sokka especially got it good man, lol, I mean heck his dad approve.

Oh right, Azula kinda forced Ty Lee to join her. Mai, was just like "meh this is more interesting than ruling a former earth capital" Ah, I thought of something. Zuko didn't know his mom was Roku's granddaughter. Does Azula know? And she might shrug it off if/when she find out, but I bet it'll eat away at her little by little and rile her up! Oh and actually showed up in this episode! ^_^

I guess I am feeling for Haru to much for the storyline. I mean, I am pretty sure he would have wanted to try and save his dad too. Teo's dad was also captured. WTF?!
Don't add more characters to the gaang if you are not going to use them to their full potential.

Is it just me or when they aired it on TV did they cut out a few frames so that Sokka's sword didnt go as close to Azula's throat, a bit of extra censorship maybe?

Just got to say, Wow. Great episodes. It was one of the most balanced ive ever seen. Drama, comedy, action, etc. Very well written. Especially with the Maiko scenes. I just love Maiko and what she did for Zuko was kind of unexpected for me. She went all crazy. I love what she said though, ".....saving the jerk who dumped me." lol that was pretty funny. I dont think i remember a time when Azula genuinely looked worried when Ty Lee said that they were cutting the lines. The thing with Zuko and Sokka was pretty cool. I think they made a good bond with each other. lol they both kinda have girl problems, both lost mothers, and almost never sees there dad (at least until this season). They are gonna get along fine, unless something like Zutara.... , (plzzzz no!!!!). But wow never thought i'd see the day where they help and work with each other. Loved every moment. I still cant believe how balanced it was though. Especially with the Comedy, which was very good. but ya great episodes and cant wait for tomorow.

I think it just you. Nothing seem out of ordinary with the editing.
I find it shocking thought that the bond between Zuko and Sokka was werid...in a scene that through out the entire episode. We had serious sokka and not funny laughing sokka that we have seen out of the first two episodes and I like it. sure there were some comedy but not in a way that dosen't take away sokka feeling toward zuko by useing just humor alone. So it was just pure when it came to the end..sure it was sappy but that to me tell the story of someone two people went in and did something and learn about each other.
Katara it your turn now.

I didn't like the meat line. It felt weird and out of place.
Then again, steaming fumes can get to you.

Finally. Some Azula defiance. And Suki kicked @$$ in this episode. But why do I get the feeling that this episode will fuel a bunch of prison-rape inspired fanfics?

Her defiance was a decent amount of action for me.

Her defiance was a decent amount of action for me. Agreed. I've always had a theory that Ty Lee would eventually betray Azula, if not the Fire Nation exactly.
