While you may call it mistaken, I do consider Avatar Anime. Just because it is made in a America does not set it in the same league as Mickey Mouse. If anything, Avatar has more asian influences then some other Animes.

My mom showed it to me. I love when Avatar gets mentions in popular magazines or things like that. When I saw this thread I thought you meant that it was on TV and I had missed it......

The boot of the car...I believe you Americans call it the trunk. I think by "boot", she means trunk. Nandi had the answer, but I didn't expect you, pg, to post it at the same time. I should've realized you meant that "boot". >_< Sorry! As for recalling him hiding in the boot, nope. I only recall him riding along in the passenger seat of Speed's car. But it's been a loong time since I've seen the old Speed Racer cartoon. I have checked my Dad's waiting room. No US News issue, but I found two Nick magazine issues. April and May editions. So, I scanned the Avatar related stuff. For the Vol. 3 ad, both Aang and Zuko look almost like they're in pain. O.o Scans: 1 2 3

Nandi had the answer, but I didn't expect you, pg, to post it at the same time. My head is just full of those almost-useless information. ;D *karma* for the articles!

^ Eh? I don't think it's useless. ^_0 It comes in handy if you travel a lot. Like "chemist" is "pharmarcist" and "football/futbol" is "soccer" for pretty much the entire world except for US/Canada. It's very interesting when the english language itself has different meanings for the same english worlds. tg- Thanks for posting those scans. Lol at the second one it's such a crack pairing. You're welc. ^^; It is right? I didn't expect it either but it was there.

Well I'm happy to see Avatar getting into something that is so national!! I do believe every state gets a USA today, although I may be mistaken. I know there's one out there that goes to all states......have to check!
Anyway, glad it's getting attention, only it came a bit late!

I saw the article on USA Today when it first came out. I'm glad that ATLA is getting the attention it deserves.

Isn't the Avatar movie going to be directed by M. Night Shamalan? (<--yea, I don't know how to spell his last name XD) Well, you know, the guy who did Signs and The Village? I think I read somewhere that he was going to.
