Everyone I am wondering what I need to do in order to get my Wii connected to the internet. My brother has DSL, but I want my Wii in my room and my computer doesn't have DSL or Cable.
What do I need to buy and what do I need to do? The USB connector, does it reach from one room to another room? Is there a way of hooking the LAN modem to the phone line. Since this is where I get my internet service anyways.
Is there any cheap wired routers? Could someone please help me on getting my Wii internet connected? Thank you ever so much if you can, I had my Wii for a year without it being connected to the internet.

Your Wii has a built in Wi-Fi connection. All you need to do is go to options and hook it up to the wireless connection.

Well my manual says I need a router and a Wii LAN Modem or the USB connector? Are you saying I do not need to buy anything?

I was able to connect my Wii using Wi-Fi without paying for anything. I think that stuff is if you want to use your Wii as a router.

Mmaky, apparently I connected to linkyes or something, but whenever I enter the Wii Shop Channel, News or Weather I get errors. Why is this?

Well the thing is is that your wireless connection or somebody else? There could be a password protection that could be preventing you from completely logging in to that linkyes account.

Well when I went into the options, all of them had passwords, but the linkyes account didn't. It just allowed me connect. What necessary is it, is it a Nintendo server?

Go to Wal*Mart and get the "Wii Wi-Fi Connector" for $15.
