Based off of the novel, "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult, the movie is about the two sisters, Kate and Anna. (to learn more about the story; read the novel XP) The movie supposebly is to start filming this spring, with Dakota and Elle Fanning as Kate and Anna respectively, and Cameron Diaz as Sara (the mom).
I'm interested to see how this will play out, especially since I thought it was an amazing novel (with scary twists and turns, as well as a shocking ending) and movies based on novels do not always live up to the novel itself.... Supposebly, though Elle and Dakota are obviously younger than Kate and Anna in the novel (16 and 14, I think; the Fanning sisters are 14 and 12, I think? XD), the article says that this was because Diaz is starring as the mom, and this fits the age range better. Personally, I cannot picture Diaz as Sara. =X It may come from the fact that I really disliked Sara in the novel (and can't picture Cameron to be like that...) but her age also throws a wrench in the works; she just seems too young (as the rest of the cast) to fufill the role..... What do you all think?

They're making a movie about the book? The book is a "recquired reading book" for my class and I haven't read it yet. A lot of people said it's good.
