OMG. This will be known as one of the greatest movies of all time.
I just saw an advanced screening. It is unbelievable. The acting, the story, the songs that fit in with the story so well, and Bono as The Walrus! I'm tellin y'all, you got to watch this movie when it comes out next friday.
It is Rated R, and not without reason, but believe me, it's fantastic. The romance and characters you genuinely feel, and you get insight into the anti-war sentiment during Nam.

I saw the previews, and it looks incredibly interesting. I have to see what it's rated R for, though (I may be seventeen, but I try to avoid gratuitous sex when I can -_-; .

Wait... it's rated R? It's PG-13 where I am! Not that it matters, because my mom refuses to let me go see it, but my best friend has gone twice and insists that it's one of the greatest films ever made. I trust her fully, lol.

ah, yeah, I went to the press screening, that was the rated r version. I hear the ones in theaters were PG13.
^believe her. It's so fantastic. The army scene was great too ("is there any reason why you should not be in the army?" "I'm a flaming homosexual drug addict" "As long as you don't have flat feet")

My best friend told me of this movie and she really wants to see it. It seems interesting, and with music from The Beatles, I'll most likely like it. I don't know how me and her will be able to see the movie since it's Rated R. Unless, we go with her brother or my mother.
