This movie looks great ~ I can't imagine Pixar and Brad Bird topping their last hit, The Incredibles, but you never know ~ they just might! ;D
So, is anyone going to the sneak preview on Saturday?

At first I didn't like the concept of a rat cooking my food, but I'm warming up to it. It seems like a cute story and I think I'll go see it. Personally I'm tired of penguins.....

Lol, same. Penguins is getting old. But this DOES NOT have appeal to me. It doesn't look funny, and I doubt it could top the others like Incredibles, Cars, Finding Nemo, etc. No way.

Actually, I've been interested in this movie from the very beginning. It looks cute and funny, unlike many kids' movies out today. I'm not seeing the sneak preview, but I'm definately seeing it in theatres.

I really want to watch this movie! The animation looks wonderful and I find the story pretty funny. The rat's cute :3 and the characterization's pretty cool. And I agree with RandomPokes, there haven been WAY too many penguin movies lately, Surf's Up being the latest (I think).

This movie looks cute and funny and I wouldn't mind seeing it!
Does anyone know what the title means? Or is it a made up word?

I think the title is made up. I'm planning to see it if I have the money.
Also, I avoided most of the penguin movies, but I'm planning to see Surf's Up. Apparently it's like a mockumentary, so that at least makes it a different format than the others.

It's some kind of French dish made with eggplant. XP Eh, I do not like eggplant. But this movie looks good ~ I'm excited about the Parisian settings and backgrounds.

Wikipedia - RatatouilleI haven't really heard or seen much of anything about the movie (though I have notice there's already a set of Pez dispensers out). It doesn't seem like something I'd be interested in, and I don't plan to see it in theaters, but I will most likely watch it someday, just because of Brad Bird's involvement (I liked Iron Giant and The Incredibles is one of my very favorite movies ever).

Okay, I just saw it, and I gotta say ~ that was one incredible movie. Highly, highly recommended. It had good, quick humor, an excellent and well-rounded story, and superb animation. Some scenes are not for the faint-hearted (okay, I screamed about six times in the first half ) but not usually because of the rats. Hey, I like rodents. Every minute was entertaining, from the hilarious pre-feature short film through the fast-paced story to the Simms Taback-style credits, and the film received (and deserved) applause from the theatre at the end. I don't usually sit though a film thinking "I've got to get this on DVD," but this one is a must-have for me, and I'm going back again when it opens on wide distribution.
