Yeah...my friend gave me a ring that looked likr the LOTR ring, and I was scared of Golum at the time, so it really freaked me out 0.0;

I read the LOTR books and the Hobbit but I could never get into the Silarillion, it found it very random.

The Silmarillion adds a ton of depth to the trilogy. (which, by the way, JRR Tolkein swore was NOT a trilogy). However it was cobbled together from old JRR Tolkein manuscripts by his son, Christopher Tolkein, who cannot write or edit. It is hard to follow, but well worth it if you make the effort. It took me three tries (starting from the beginning)
These are the best movies adapted from the books, bar none.

I saw the new Charolets Web too, that was a good book movie. I cryed when Charolet dies (again)

Wow, really what ? lol I haven't seen Charlotte's Web yet, but we will probably get the DVD. That was one of the first "big" books I ever read. My daughter just read it a couple weeks ago *wipes tear out of eye* and loved it.
