I watch the entire story Lunauc, Kataang moments are just on the side that I do. Its not like I spaz myself to death over Kataang moments. They occur, I feel happy, and move on with the rest of story. I hope I answer this to your specifications xD

True, I am overly critical when I see something I enjoy possibly being compromised for the sake of cheezy melodrama. But that is just the way of things. It doesn't really matter what the writers do to it, I can imagine the story however I please. Though I thank them for making the characters for me to enjoy.

You didn't respond to my ending scenario Power, and frankly, until you can convince me of a more awesome alternative not involving the AS, I flat out don't believe that it would make as good an ending.
So how do YOU see the ending being like?

You didn't respond to my ending scenario Power, and frankly, until you can convince me of a more awesome alternative not involving the AS, I flat out don't believe that it would make as good an ending. So how do YOU see the ending being like? Well, with all the Star Wars they've already ripped off, they could go for the Return of the Jedi ending. Luke is one of the most well formed characters in any story, in my opion. He doesn't prescribe to the generalized design of a hero, who's character is overshadowed by pursiuts of glory, vengence, romance or vindication. As the story progresses, so do his views, as he grows from a farm boy hungry for adventure into the ideal of the Jedi, detatched from material worries. So, when he comes to face his Father and the Emperor, he does not rush in bloody battle style, lightsaber blazing. He relies on his faith in his father and himself as his weapon. Though he stumbles in his conviction and fights Vader, when Leah is threatened(which may be mirrored with a threat toward Katara), he does regain himself when he cuts off his Father's hand and sympathizes with him. The act restores some hope in Anakin and prompts him to stop the Emperor and save Luke, who fought with his faith. I could especially see Avatar turning out this way if they take the Koh route. If he is the big evil, possessing Ozai or directing him to get to the Avatar. Thus, while the others battle physically, his would be a spiritual conflict. In that sense I could also see Zuko, rather than Ozai taking on the Vader role, as someone Aang comes to identify, or understand as this third season unfolds. Thus, Zuko/Ozai would be the one to drive out the Demon, as they are spiritually saved by the Avatar. And then he might blow up the comet for a huge Fireworks display. ((BTW... I understand nothing I just wrote has anything to do with Taang. So as compensation, imagine that Aang and Zuko's animosity takes a turn for the worst with some Zutara friction, before he turns into the Vadar role, and Aang finally let go of Katara to take on the peaceful, detatched Jedi mind, perhaps with Toph's Yoda like help. Better?))

^I could dig it except for one thing: Aang's been training very hard with learning how to bend all four elements. So it seems right to think he'll have to use them in some way in a big fight of some sort. Otherwise what was the point of the last 3 seasons?

So it seems right to think he'll have to use them in some way in a big fight of some sort. Otherwise what was the point of the last 3 seasons? I never said it would be exactly like RotJ, but even if it is, he would still have to fight his way to the final showdown. Also, the "threat fight" woud show him putting his powers to the test. Beside that, you could probably consider the four elements essential steps in gaining full balance of self and spirit, maybe. EDIT: Actually, this gives me an interesting idea. What if to steal the power of the Avatar Spirit, Koh needed to steal Aang's face at the moment he was ruled by his emotions, out of control with anger in the Avatar State? Perhaps Koh would possess Zuko for this, trying to play on the boy's aggression. Especially if there were bits of Zutara in season three, so Aang's jealousy would gnaw at him. Pepper that with threats against Katara and his other friends, and you may have Aang dragged into a huge spiteful battle, which can only be resolved by regaining his control of self, and sympathizing with Zuko, to save the Prince and help him cast Koh out. Sound good?

Clear! *hugs* You got paired? Snap. Well, Toph could go for Yoda as far as height goes. (I take personal offense only being half an inch taller than her) Yoda and Luke equal Toph and Aang. Hmmm..... EDIT: Yeah, Lunauc, I'm with Clear. You should try a fanfic for that.

^Star Wars: Pretty much it's more than just good vs. evil. It has concepts of the power of faith in it. It's a good trilogy. Though I haven't watched it passionately for a decadeSweet! We short people appreciate the comment! Yoda and Luke equal Aang and Toph.......plot wise, sweet. See, Lunauc? You got three supporters!

^Sounds good, I might check it out. My uncle is like obsessed with it, so I might watch it with him. Yup, I'm short and proud of it! Toph doesn't seem to mind her height either... lunauc: I really think that plot could turn out really well. And as taiyo said, you have three supporters!

star wars is definitely a good series to watch, princessmai. although most people like the ones that came out first more. i like all of them though . hehe see, lun? you should go for it . i can't say anything about the short thing. i'm the tallest girl on my mom's side of the family .

^There are times when I want to be taller. My mom is 5'7 1/2 and my dad is 6'1, so I don't know how I came out 5'2......
Anyways, I could kinda see Toph as Yoda. Like I've said, I have never seen the Star Wars movies, but I have heard a bit about Yoda and Luke. And I think the Yoda=Toph and Luke=Aang thing would be good for a plot.

^Dang, you're half an inch taller than me. Yep. Yoda and Luke really are like Toph and Aang cuz they have that teacher student relationship. I haven't seen Star Wars in awhile so I don't know if Yoda and Luke bonded but it sure would be cool if Toph and Aang did some more.
