Uhm. No, that's number NINE. The fandom was suppose to freak out about the title of number SIX. ^^;

^I noticed that! XD Anyway, back to the topic, I'm guessing there'll be a big rift between our favorite duo. Wonder how long it'll last...

actually from the book 3 preview Zuko is going to be a total jerkoff next season, being a real butthead around his unc as he seems to be falling into Azula's hands. I am on the party that thinks Zuko should die, kill the idiot, wipe him out and bury him. Poor Iroh, he has to loose two sons now.

^A rift means they're not talking or they're in a fight. lol Zuko will come around! I mean, the odds of Ozai reinstating Zuko as Prince of the Fire Nation are as good as Toph inventing the telephone.

Thanks! XD Hey, does anyone know the song "Do This Anymore" by Nickelback? I think that song fits Zuko and Iroh now.

That's a good choice of song Kataang, I've read those lyrics and I agree it does fit. ^^ Allow me to have my own music related thoughts. <3 The more I listen to it, I think that Phil Collins' 'No Way Out' from Brother Bear fits the mood for them of the finale and what was suggested in the third season's trailer. And possibily what we want to happen later on. If anyone wants the lyrics, here is the link to them. ;P No Way Out Lyrics

No Way Out is a sad, heartfelt song. One of the few tha'll make me cry. That would definitely match in Zuko's case cuz in the Finale he was obviously still conflicted and in the trailer (him looking down at his people) still troubled. I'd be too if my uncle was locked in the dungeon looking like they weren't taking good care of him. *karmas when hour is up*

So...I'm thinking of writing a tree-shot based on that scene between Iroh and Zuko. Iroh escapes from jail, and leaves Zuko a letter. Zuko replies back. I went through my whole iTunes library, and came up with the best songs to use for that story. Judas- Kelly Clarkson (Or When There Was Me And You from HSM) (Iroh's PV) Outside Looking In- Jordan Pruitt (Zuko's POVV) Any better song ideas? XD

Zuko and Iroh discussion, eh?
The interesting thing is that Zuko doesn't seem to have accepted Iroh as his father yet; his "real" father probably still comes first. However, he does respect how Iroh feels about him, and in turn feels strongly for Iroh. Zuko needs to learn to sort through his conficted feelings, and then he'll realize who's really been a father to him. But judging by his recent statements in the Season III preview, Zuko seems to be integrating with the Fire Nation and their beliefs, so he's far from that right now.

Been thinking about it...
Zuko is probably at a point is his life where Iroh once was. When Lu Ten died and after he got through the mourning process Iroh was probably mad at the world too. He probably blamed everyone else for all his suffering...but eventually he came to realise how futile the war...though it probably took him a visit to the Spirit World to come to that understanding...but he was still heir to the throne, he would still feel a duty to his people and his homeland.
He can see this is Zuko too...but Zuko's a fraction of his age...he doesn't have the maturity and experience Iroh had when he went through his metamorphosis from loyal Fire Nation Prince and General to what he is now. His gentle needling may have been his way of trying to get the boy through it faster, even though, in truth, he realises that it's something Zuko's got to do in his own way and in his own time.
I also think Hoobastank's The Reason is another good Zuko/Iroh song...
I'm not a perfect person There's many things I wish I didn't do But I continue learning I never meant to do those things to you And so I have to say before I go That I just want you to know
I've found a reason for me To change who I used to be A reason to start over new and the reason is you
I'm sorry that I hurt you It's something I must live with everyday And all the pain I put you through I wish that I could take it all away And be the one who catches all your tears Thats why I need you to hear
I've found a resaon for me To change who I used to be A reason to start over new and the reason is You
I'm not a perfect person I never meant to do those things to you And so I have to say before I go That I just want you to know
I've found a reason for me To change who I used to be A reason to start over new and the reason is you
I've found a reason to show A side of me you didn't know A reason for all that I do And the reason is you

Wow, I have never heard that song before, but just reading the words made me tear up. I'll have to go find it and listen now. But as it pertains to Zuko and Iroh, yes it does. At one point Zuko will find his way back to Iroh, we all know it. Such beautiful words.
