I totally agree with Damunch. She was only shown for a total of 4.6 minutes. (just guessing here) and in that time, we've only seen one side of her. If she was more rounded, then we can determine if she was compatible with Zuko or not. Yea, she's....NICE (i couldn't find a better word) but every full character has a flaw. If she's going to be with Zuko, then we must find more about her, what she is all about and what are her problems. A "goodie, goodie" paired with an angry firebender isn't good.

Song was played by Kim Mai Guest but there's no credit for her in IMDB for Avatar.. so no way to tell if she'll be back by just seeing future credits..

Yeah, she was probably only there to show Zuko that he isn't the only one affected by the war. One of those characters whose purpose is to highlight another character. But I liked her, even if she was on for only a little while.

Am I the only one who thought she looked like she could be in her 20's or so, a bit old for Zuko?

I LOVE Song, but that obvious isn't it, I mean she is "the female Haru" as someone stated earlier. I think she was there to give a face to the Earth Kingdom in Zuko's eyes. Before he just saw them as the annoying nation in his fathers way, now he knows someone from there. Though it didn't really help much because he still stole that ostrich which symbolize he still loyal to the fire Nation.

Song's pretty cool. I don't hate her but I have to admit, I'm a Haru fan. I thought she was there to open Zuko's eyes but it didn't really work. Hm... I guess that's because she's not Aang.

But Soko is a last resort for me if my ship doesn't work out.

I notice something, I think she very mature. Much more then any other character on the show. See how she was in the herbalist area that means she was there volunteering to help out people who becomes ill. Also she not angry with the world for the short coming of her life. From her deform leg to not having a father around. I LIKE her she could be an amazing tactician . stops getting way to ahead of myself .

Tactician? ;D
She does act mature. She doesn't go completely psycho that her father is gone from the war. Instead, she stays and helps people so that they won't have to suffer that consequence.
I like her as well and I finally have a ship!

I'm kinda a Sokung (so it's been officially named) and I think it's a nice pairing. I just hope she comes again. Fire Nation Troops could invade her village and interrogate them. Then, it'll turn up violent and Zuko will save her. That's my prediction, I know, it's like a fanfiction. Maybe then she would follow them or something and we get to understand more of her character and not see her as a Mary-Sue character.

Well.....I thought Song was kind and everything(but i hate her with a fierce passion) , but I believe she's only there so Zuko can see personally what the war has done to families like her's. I hope that we never see her again. XP

I've done some thinking, and I think I know why I like Song so much:
She's incredibly mature.
She shows no malice toward the Fire Nation, despite the fact that they took her father and scarred her. When she told Zuko "The Fire Nation has hurt you too," it wasn't really sympathy. It was a statement of fact.
I like how she doesn't mope around and wallow in self-pity (like a certain prince...). Instead of feeling sorry for herself, she goes out into the world and helps people.
I also think she has a playful side. It was funny when Iroh was scratching his rash and Song kept slapping his hand away. ;D
