Well.....I thought Song was kind and everything(but i hate her with a fierce passion) , but I believe she's only there so Zuko can see personally what the war has done to families like her's. I hope that we never see her again. XP *Gasp* How can you say that? Yeah, I understand where you're coming from with that. I don't like goody-goody perfect Mary-Sue characters either but you've only seen less than 10 minutes of her. If she was a main character and she was like that all the time, I would agree with you on that, but she isn't. She's not a developed character.

XD Uwaugh- the characters you need to see more of before deciding so much sure are...troublesome at best! ^_^ *Rattles fist at two week wait before new ep* Whyy?XD

She's incredibly mature. She shows no malice toward the Fire Nation, despite the fact that they took her father and scarred her. When she told Zuko "The Fire Nation has hurt you too," it wasn't really sympathy. It was a statement of fact. I like how she doesn't mope around and wallow in self-pity (like a certain prince...). Instead of feeling sorry for herself, she goes out into the world and helps people. Er... Last I checked, she wasn't going out and doing anything (not in this episode, at least). What does she do? Sits at home and talks to people saying "I feel your pain" and telling them that there's hope for things to get better. Zuko may be wallowing in self-pity, but he's been going out and working to fix his situation. Just playing devil's advocate, really. I can't stand to hear people bashing my main man.

@symbolicairbendinglove: Thank you for the Exalt. By the way, I have a Chinese Dictionary and I looked up her name meaning. It can mean either of the following because Chinese has some accents and different ways of saying stuff. It could mean: Formal, Alarmed, Panicky, Terrified, Towering, Respectful, Argue, Feudal State in the Zhou Dynasty (11th Century- 256 B.C.), to Deliver (as in to "deliver good news" ). And it's also part of the word: "songci", which means "poetry of the Song Dynasty". I'm leaning more on the "to Deliver" definition because the last thing she did to Zuko and Iroh was try to give them hope by giving good news, but I'm not sure if that counts 'cause Zuko already knew that. I'm not sure if this Dictionary is a good source, but I think it is.

Song could also be a Korean name, since her outfit is distinctly Korean...

Song was acting as a healer in a medical facility of some sort. That's going out into the world and helping people. I'm not bashing Zuko. Everyone here would agree that Zuko wallows in self-pity. Also, Zuko is not working to fix his situation. He's living in denial; chasing something that isn't there.

On side note, gosh I love Song outfit. It's so cute! That episode had alot of great dressing people. Appa great hair, Sokka in bathing suit, Song cute dress, Zuko new hair.

Song's outfit made her look pregnant to me. It was like too big for her. I <3 Zuko's new outfit. The dark colors suit him more.

It's a common Korean dress, nothing to do with pregnancy or sizeing problems. Everyone looks like that in those things.

Song was played by Kim Mai Guest but there's no credit for her in IMDB for Avatar.. so no way to tell if she'll be back by just seeing future credits.. Go to IMDB and you can see that they still haven't changed the "Eastern Air Temple" description to "The Cave of Two Lovers". Don't rely on IMDB, it's not very reliable.... TV.com is more reliable than IMDB so yea, no offense but you just got PWNED! ;D Back on topic Song might come back it's a 50-50 thing, but can't we just get along? "We just need love" - Chong

As Damunch said, that is the typical style Korean dress; nothing to do with pregnancy. That might actually be a bit offensive to some to say...*I thought her outfit was quite cute myself.:3*

It seems to me that on the unlikely evenr that Song is a recurring character, she would still be sueish.

But wouldn't you prefer to see, Kaneda, before being sure of that? 0_0 Yue could even be considered Sue-ish for this sort of thing, but she wasn't in the end. *Grimance in case of anger* Sorry, I just...I don't know. 0_0 I just find it kind of weird to think of Song as a Sue- but I get where you are coming from...
