I'd just like to see Zuko fight...the boy's barely done anything of the 'can of whoop-arse' kind this season...

Id like to see toph or katara take on azula. I love girl fights lol. But zuko will probably have the final fight with azula which would be pretty cool. Id like to see a water vs Air fight but i think Aang is unlikly to fight Katara lol

^^Yeah the Zuko/Azula fight would be good.
I don't think I'd mind seeing Katara and Sokka face off either. Sokka would get killed. lol

^^Sokka/Katara would be cool. They've gotten mad at eachother before, so it could happen again, just more intense.

^^ Yeah if they could get mad enough at each other. Then again, the boy in the iceburg episode......
I'd really like to see a Zuko/ AZula fight, they need to let all their anger go out on eachother. Beside, we've never seen it and the last time we thought we were going to see it, Zuko jined her.

I would love to see a 'Zuko vs. Azula' battle but I'm odd in that I would really like it if Azula would usurp FireLord Ozai and the battle would be in part with Zuko and the Gaang taking down Azula as Fire Nation Empress.

I'm part of the minority that actually agrees with you -- though Azula would be Fire Lord, not "Fire Nation Empress". Just a friendly correction. *Resumes lurking.*

I'm proud to be part of the 'elite minority.' lol But why do you prefer 'Fire Lord' to 'Fire Nation Empress?' Good! Not many of us want an usurpation, so I'm always happy to see more people aboard this train of thought. ( I've been touting the idea for over a year. ) A personal preference, but I've never been fond of the feminization of titles. I don't like the sound of "Fire Lady", "Fire Empress", "Fire Queen", or what have you. I realize this is a little-known fact, but "lord" can be a gender-ambiguous title. In this instance, it's definitely interchangeable. Men and women alike can assume the role of Fire Lord. Creditable sources do back up my usage of "Fire Lord" for Azula. This excerpt is from The Earth Kingdom Chronicles: The Tale Of Azula, an officially-licensed book you can purchase in bookstores. You asked why I prefer "Fire Lord" to "Fire Nation Empress" -- so, canonocity aside, I adore the sound of Fire Lord Azula. ;D

First thank you so much for taking the time to explain your point of view. I'm new here but I really appreciate it when a fellow Avatarian takes the time to explain their stance as opposed to simply wailing on me vehemently for seeming to be an unintelligent 'noob.' LOL It was very gracious of you and I appreciate it deeply. I think your canon-approved explanation makes perfect sense. And let's face it, chances are Azula herself would most likely pass on "Lady" or "Empress," perhaps not wishing to seem too 'motherly' or 'overly-feminine.' It reminds me a lot of the female pharaohs of ancient Egypt. When assuming the throne they knew it was more advantageous to take on the male title and even don a pseudo beard. I am confident Azula will make the title her own, regardless of what she chooses.

^just for the record i would also like to see Azula take the throne from her father. Any other ending for her would just be so anticlimatic since her charactor has been in the story so much more than ozai. When she was sitting on the throne in DoBS i thought it actually had happened and nearly wet my self. Annnnnyyy to get back on topic i would love to see mai/ty lee fight Sokka although they will probably join the gaang before the end. Sokka really needs to whoop some butt with his awsome sword. id also like to see Ty Lee fight Azula on the high wire

I totally agree that after all of Azula's character build-up it would seem absolutely anti-climatic for her to take a secondary role in the final showdown. She clearly was a mere decoy in the 'DOBS: 2,' delaying Aang, Sokka and Toph during the eclipse but I have high hopes that when the fight of fights occurs, she just has to be a part of it. It wouldn't make sense if she was not there and deeply involved in the outcome.

If Azula became the supreme power in the Fire Nation couldn't she call herself anything she darn well pleased?

LOL It was very gracious of you and I appreciate it deeply. Oh, you're welcome! I don't think you'll run into too much of that here. But I'm touched -- and actually rather humbled -- by your words, Lisa. So, here. *Karma* for your kindness! I think your canon-approved explanation makes perfect sense. And let's face it, chances are Azula herself would most likely pass on "Lady" or "Empress," perhaps not wishing to seem too 'motherly' or 'overly-feminine.' I agree: she shuns expressions of femininity. Her attire is highly masculinized -- especially that black/gold armor she's now wearing -- and she's been boyish ever since her childhood, immersing herself in military studies and burning dolls. No way would she want to be called "Lady", "Empress", etc. ... If Azula became the supreme power in the Fire Nation couldn't she call herself anything she darn well pleased? I suppose. But I don't see why she wouldn't assume the title of "Fire Lord"...

General Overlord Zoisaito thanks so much! Gen. OZ: "I don't think you'll run into too much of that here. But I'm touched -- and actually rather humbled -- by your words, Lisa. So, here *Karma* for your kindness!"Yay me, good karma! LOL Of course I really meant what I said, it's not always easy for veteran posters to be patient with us 'noobs' while we're figuring stuff out even after we've read through the rules. Ack. Gen. OZ: "I agree: she shuns expressions of femininity. Her attire is highly masculinized -- especially that black/gold armor she's now wearing -- and she's been boyish ever since her childhood, immersing herself in military studies and burning dolls. No way would she want to be called "Lady", "Empress", etc. ..."Agreed. When Azula is willing to take 'girly-girl' advice or ANY advice for that matter from Ty Lee (per 'The Beach') it is painfully obvious femininity is clearly not her strong suit.
