Okay, due to the descisions made in this thread, we have chosen to make a new thread for people who seriously want their avatar and signature to be rated. We'll just rate both at the same time, to save forum space. Here is the form you can follow: Color: How's the color scheme, and do the colors go together? Stock Choice/Cutting: Is the stock ragged looking, or perhaps out of place? And is it a nice use of stock, or is it random? Text: Spelling errors are annoying. Technique: How technical is the *thing you are rating*...does it look like they put a lot of time into it, or does it look like a bunch of pictures put together (this relates to siggies and avatars). Quality of Image: is the stock all fuzzy, or pixelated looking? Hmm, you may wanna think about that. Overall: This is your overall impression of whatever you're rating. Say what you want, and possibly give advice to help improve the thing you are rating. You don't necessarily have to write this every single time you rate something, just keep these things in mind when you are rating. EDIT by Pianist -- Just use this code for easierness... Color: Stock Choice/Cutting: Text: Technique: Quality of Image: Overall:
Sorry if you didn't want that O.O

I hope I'm doing this right....
Avvie- Color-Black red, gray and white. All the colors work together, No confusion, very clean cut. Stock Choice- The stock is Mello right?Very nicely cut and pasted, great editing, no fuzzy line. Text- no errors Technique- It looks like it took awhile to make. I love this avvie-Melloe looks very dangerous, almost threatening. Looks complicated to make. Overall-Very nice. The white border really makes it pop, they also bring out the white in his hair. I'd say 10/10 (I know this thread is for making real ratings, but just look at her avvie!)
Siggie- Color- In the red box for instance, the color enhances the detail and adds to the picture. But in say, the orange one, it doesn't. It blurs his face a little(that might just be melloe though), and because orange is so light, his arm almost blend with the wall. I still like it though. Stock Choice-In the fourth box (the green one) it is the only one where we don't see mello's face. He has a helmet on. The orange one he is also farther away, but it doesn't bother me. Text- N/A Technique- Looks muy complicado. Changing the color in each box probably not only takes a while, but making sure you've got six clen cut pics of the dude, and then shrinking them to exactly the same size, adding your curvy corners (^^). All in all, looks well done . Overall- 9/10 The orange and the green shots kind of throw the others off balance. I understand the need for a little variety, but maybe just a slightly smaller head of mello, than one where he's so far away it is blurry and one where he's wearing a helmet.

Wow...How...Arduous to type that vast amount of information...Well...
Avatar: Color: All dark and shady colors are blended to gether in your avatar to make a quiet, eerie effect to it. That's good! Stock Choice: Well picked and well placed in the avatar. Text: The only word I can read well is ALCHEMIST. Then, again, I'm astigmatic, so I can't really say about that. Technique: All I can say is pretty. Overall: Sure it's a tad and a nidget eerie, but when it says "shooting star ALCHEMIST" it gives you the idea that he is a happy person and the coloring makes it...Ehm...something (I can't get it out!!!)
Signature: Color: Beautiful seeing how the pink on Zuko's side gradually changes to aqua on Katara's side. Stock: It's nice but Zuko is hard to see and Katara is look backwards in the fight scene. Text: It's kind of funny considering Katara's looking backwards in the battle scene. Technique: Pretty...Just Nice and pretty....... Overall: Gives this small aura of happiness when Zuko is a sad character and Katara looks troubled in the Larger picture of her. But still pretty.

OK
Avatar- Color: 8/10. The backround is a bit boring. Maybe you need some color in it? Stock Choice: 9/10 smack down in the middle. Text: 7/10 because it's blurry and I can't read it. If it's Japanese, I'll raise it. Technique: 9/10 He looks OK. Overall: 9/10 If you made it, you did your best, so I'll respect you!
Siggy- Color: 10/10 because it fits and pink is one of my fave colors. SC: 9/10 Because they're in the right places. Text: 10/10. I can read it, and I like the font. Overall: 10/10. I really love it. Pera does an awesome job with sigs.
#2 Color: 9/10 because it fits the char., and it's a bunch of happy colors, in my opinion. SC: 10/10 Awesome, I love it, nuff said. Text: same as your first one. 10/10 Overall: 9/10 because it can get me in my happy place when I'm out, and I think that it's an awsome sig, too.

Avatar Color- No cheme really. Without a base color or scheme of colors, nothing really pops, so the eye is drawn to too many places at once. Stock- No fuzzy lines, but because here hair is so dark, it almost blends with the background on the right. An image with her all the way to the right, therefore eliminating the confusion with her hair and creating composition would be nice. Text- N/A Technique- It looks like a cropped screecap, so not so hot technique Overall- Needs some work. Possibly a gradient or color base. Something to make you go "Wow" 7/10
Siggie- Color- Pretty good. The girl on the right (ada I think) works better with the background colors than the girl on the left (claire?). Ada's (?) hair and clothes match the black, white and grey better than Claire's (?) pink vest and red hair.Still, it all works nicely. Stock- Clean cut, well laid out. Here, for some reason when Ada's hair is the same color as the background it doesn't bother me. (Color theme, Yay!) Text- Nice. Me like. Technique-Looks like it took awhile. Nice editing and nice shapes in the background Overall- Hmmm.....difficult. I'll say 9/10.

I really like this new one thread. I always seem to get docked points because people don't know who is on my sig.
Avatar: Color: The color is very nice. I can tell that the background is a gradient and that the picture is overlayed on top. This is actually one of my prefered styles to do as well. Stock Choice/Cutting: I don't really think that there was any cutting involved in this picture. I have to say that the choice is decent because the picture is a good resolution and not so... pixelly. Text: The text is rather simple yet it just ties everything together. Hehe... no spelling errors here. Technique: Well, I myself love to do graphics on photoshop. I work rather fast and to be honest, the avatar looks like a screencap that was overlayed on a gradient with a couple of brush strokes to the side. The technique is rather simple, but sometimes simple is better. Quality of Image: Very good quality. Why? Well, everything is clear, you can see everything, and it's not pixelly whatsoever. Overall: Overall, 10/10. My preference of graphical art is simplicity.... The avatar shows how simplicity is sometimes better than too much detail.
Sig: Color: Colors! The colors are really good. I especially like how it goes from red to blue with the fire/smoke thingy distinguishing the two colors instead of the overused gradient. Stock Choice/Cutting: The cutting on the pictures looks pretty good to me. There are actually curves where there needs to be. Text: nope. I like ow the text is black and how it is being distinguished with the {}. I think it really ties the picture together. Bravo! Technique: As opposed to the avatar, the technique seems to be a lot more..... technical. I keep getting the feeling that the picture is overlayed on a gradient going from red-->Blue though. Quality of Image: To me, the picture doesn't look fuzzy... however, I think the background screencap is a bit on the fuzzy side. It doesn't really bother me though. Overall: 10/10 The overall appearance of the sig makes a person stop and stare. I know when I first saw the sig, I was staring at it for a while as well. I don't know if the fire that distinguishes the red from blue is intentional, but it adds a great overall effect. Lastly, the text is different from the things that I've seen before. It is striking and, honestly, it's the first thing I look at when I look at the sig.
[when rating my sigs, you don't have to rate them all... that'll be too much. You can just rate my first sig]

Alright, I've really wanted to rate these!
Avvie- Color-White/grey/black. Bland, but it works well. The pink in his cheek sets it off, which is nice. Stock- Nice, clear, no fuzzy lines or pixels. The double shot of his eye seems random, but it adds a nice tough. Text-Add's to the icons appeal, and does not distract the eye. It almost is like you see the icon, and then the writing is an after thought. Technique- Looks simple, but is clean and nice. Overall- Difficult.....very difficult....... I'll have to go with 8/10. It doesn't pop out of the page and scream "Look, I'm excellent !" but it has this appeal to it. Me like.
Siggie- Color-Once again nice color scheme. Black greay white and pale brownish orange.(You like to set these grey/black/white scheme off with a warm color don't you?Teh Nice) Stock-Nice image. Oncce again clean EXCEPT he has a a speckly thing on his nose. That is my only beef. (But the specklies add to the sig, I know how it is to have an almost perfect brush) Text- I can only decipher "to the chaos" but it looks really cool. Technique- Looks complicated at first glance, but realy only has a few brushes color overlays. Still, very nice. Overall- 9/10

Avatar Color: Blues and reds go well together in yours from blending changes.
Stock Choice/Cutting: The picture is wonderful! Looks like no cutting of pixels, so it comes through clearly.
Text: The words come out very clear to me.
Technique: It looks like you put alot of time into your avatar, since it looks so good!
Quality of Image: Looks like inbetween fuzzy and pixely, but a little more fuzzy than pixely.
Overall: To me, its a very beautiful avatar! 9.5/10. The thing that is so cool is the markings that he summons.
Siggy Color: The colors, again, are well put together in a blending and standing out situation.
Stock Choice/Cutting: The pics are great, and nice cutting!
Text: The words come out very clear to me.
Technique: I like the way you make it go from one color to another, but I just don't like the purple.
Quality of Image: The only thing that looks fuzzy is the side of the background, but otherwise, its great!
Overall: I'd say...... 9/10. I really like the theme!

Might as well join
Avatar Color: The blues and purples are nice together and give it a soft feeling. The opposite contrast in the corners (the light blue and dark purple) add a nice touch and sort of guide your eyes across the image 10/10
Stock Choice: not sure what this means, but the image is very clear and easy to read 10/10
Text: The text is clear and is set out from the rest of the image. I don't understand the meaning though 9/10
Technique: It appears that alot of time was put into this image. I especially like the design on the side 10/10
Overal: It is calming to the eyes and I like that it is unique. It is something that I like to look at and is very well done. The only minor complaint that I have is that I don't understand the meaning of the text. 10/10
Signature Color: The hot image of the red and cool of the blue contradict and I often end up only looking at the Katara side. The almost pink in between the Zuko pics seems a little odd, though I like the color of the water/fire 8/10
Stock Choice: It is clear for the most part, but the image of Katara toward the middle has a white coming in and makes it looks a little off. 10/10
Text: I like how it stands out and divides the two characters. I always laugh when I see this because Katara is, in fact, looking backwards 10/10
Technique: Its obvious that some serious time was put into the creation of this, and I like how Katara and Zuko both stand out at the sides, though Katara's image seems like it was placed over the rest, while Zuko looks like he could be part of the image. 9/10
Overal: I love your signature and identify you by it, but some of the things, such as the overlap of the Katara images and the odd face that Katara is making in the middle pic make me say 9/10
Sidenote: I decided that if text is just looking for spelling errors it will always get a 10, so I think that we should allow people to add if they think it suits the image to their rating. By the way Awapuhi I think that Copycat and I had the online valentine in our sigs before your goten, or around the same time anyway.

I got bored so I made myself a new av and sig. Are we also rating the individual categories as well?
Avatar: Color: Lots of white, however, the brownish effect is giving that avatar a memorable feel which adds a bit of a contrast to the white. 7/10
Stock Choice/Cutting: The picture looks pretty clear to me, but I really don't mind any minor pixelly things. The thing that bothers me a bit is the changing of characters. At first, it looked like it was blended together, but as I looked at it closer, I realized that it was 2 different characters. 8/10
Text: the wording is memorable. 10/10
Technique: Very simple. The avatar looks really simple. 8/10
Quality of Image: it's a good quality image. There's no fuzziness or pixelliness on it. 10/10
Overall: 8/10 The simplicity is striking, but a bit bland. The plain white background is what docked the most points for me.
Sig: Color: Very nice use of colors. Everything seems to fall into place and nothing in particular looks weird. 10/10
Stock Choice/Cutting: Very clean and neat. The pictures (I think they might be separate pictures) looks whole and well put together. 10/10
Text: I can stare at that Bleach word forever. It's so pretty! 10/10
Technique: Yet again, very simple. I really like how everything seems to shine though. It's cool. The words seem be a bit more intricate that the image itself. 9/10
Quality of Image: Quality=good. The pictures are clean and crisp... no blur. 10/10
Overall: 10/10. It makes a person stop and look and the text is just stunning. Actually, I would have to say that the text is the focal point. The picture loks really whole and not a couple of screencaps pasted next to each other.

EDIT- Woops, sorry almighty.
W00t!I get to rate gohunter's stuff. Side note- the main reason I put that into my sig is because everywhere it is popping up who is hwo's forum buddies, and for new people, or people who just don't know many people here, it might seem like cliquing or it might seem intimidating. Basically, what I wrote is there to say that I love all the members <3
Avvie- Color-Nice A little too much white, but still purdy. Stock- Clean. But the blending of the two faces left a fuzzy line in his nose. Lol, why should I complain?Tis nice anyways. Text- No errors, and I like the fonts Technique- Looks a little simpler than Blah's normal stuff, but still very nice ^^. Overall- I gotta say......8/10. It's nice- really it is. But the side with Narutos head is a tiny bit smaller, and that throws my eyes into wack. (Or maybe just the shape of Narutos head is smaller than Gaara's and I never noticed?)
Siggie- Color- Brown, orange, white, and black. I love it -they all compliment each other nicely. Stock- Clean, nice stock. Text- the writing is pure love. Pure love. Technique- Can I say complex any louder? COMPLEX my friend, complex. I look at your sig and just go "Wow. That is fantabulous" Overall- 10/10. Definately one of Blah's best pieces. (Though I don't see how anyone can deny the power of the blah. Her stuff is just too good)

Awaphui
avatar
Color -- I love the gradient that is used...it creates a very mystical feeling ^_^ Stock -- there's really no stock, but the choice of scene from the movie is teh smexy! Text -- LOVE the choice of text...it's amazing. Howl is amazing. He really is a shooting star, and the choice of font is perfect. Technique -- it's simple but good since you don't want to get too complicated with avatars. The simplist of avatars are the nicest. Overall -- the smexyness of Howl is what won me over and the choice of colors...actually, the whole thing just freakin rocks my socks...8.7/10
siggy Color -- I love how it's red and gradually makes it way over to blue on Katara's side...the gradient use it awesome. Stock -- Try using the color/contrast adjust feature since Katara and Zuko look really plain and they don't blend too well with the actually background. Text: Love the text, since Katara makes it ironic...she is glancing backwards. Very nice ^_^ Technique: Hmm...there could be some brushing maybe but the simplicity is gorgeous...meh, screw the brushing and stick with the awesome gradients! LOVE IT. Overall: It's a nice siggy and love the use of red and blue to symoblize Katara and Zuko (Yeah Zutara!...I think that's what you support)...try touching up on the stocks to make them more interesing and maybe even the background as well, and it sort of needs a border...8.3/10

ZOMG YAY! Finally a person with a sig not made by me that I can rate! Oh how long I have waited for this oppurtunity... Oh, and thank you everyone for the uneccessarily nice comment on some of my stuff! *ego-boost*
avatar Color -- No real changes were made here, however it is a very crisp and clean color 7/10 Stock -- The animation is fluid and very neat 9/10 Text -- none Technique -- Very nice, I love the way that it matches the sig so well. 9/10 Overall -- A very pretty avatar, with excellent animation and very pleasant to look at. 8/10
Signature Color -- Beautifully done, I totally dig the purple to orange fade affect. 10/10 Stock -- Not much stock, but the brush on the side in perfectly placed. 8/10 Text -- The tiny!text is nice, my only complaint would be about the white font in the middle. Maybe it should be more of a standard font, and in black to match the tiny!text. 6/10 Technique -- Simple, yet looks like you spent some time in making it. 9.5/10 Overall -- Love the peascefullness of the scene and the choice of wording. The brush on the side really pulls the whole thing together. 9/10

Avatar Color: The color is awesome. I'm a sucker for dark colors. XD 10/10 Stock Choice/Cutting: The stock looks good to me... no fuzzy edges... no pixelly stuff. Good! 10/10 Text: The text completely matchs the avatar. Nice. (Is that a teeny tiny text under it or some pattern design?) Technique: The avatar looks pretty simple. I like how it's a silouhette which makes it different and unique. I also really like the border which is totally awesome! 9/10 Quality of Image: The quality of the image is good. It's also different because it's only brown/black and white. 9/10 Overall: 9.5/10 The overall simplicity is awesome. I like how the avatar is different from ones that I've seen before and how it is pleasing to look at. The only thing that I docked points for is the technique which is rather simple.
Sig: Color: Colorful! I like how each image portrays a different color, but it is still black. 10/10 Stock Choice/Cutting: Very nice choice of pictures. Each one is the same character but in a different scenario. 10/10 Text: N/A Technique: It is also rather simple, but it looks like time has been spent on it. I really like these kind of sigs, it's so eye-appealing. 9/10 Quality of Image: Great quality for each image. 10/10 Overall: 10/10 I just love color bars. Although the sig looks simple, it leaves quite an impression on the viewer. It's clean and crisp.... Its really pretty.

You could be like Pera's sister! ,^^ Um...maybe not....because I don't wanna get her mad. Overall: 10/10 You did a good job on it! Siggys- Color: 10/10 on all three of them. Not boring, very lively. Cutting: 9/10, 10/10, 10/10 I think they're good. Text: 10/10 on all. No spelling errors. Technique: All are OK. 10/10, 10/10, 10/10.
