Well, I guess we won't be seeing any more of Sharon Lawrence on the show. I feel bad for Stottlemeyer...

It's always nice to see Julie, but last night's ep disappointed me because it seemed completely out of character for her to just dump a guy she supposedly liked just because some more popular guy took an interest in her. Also, it bothered me that her original boyfriend just took her back after the truth came out. It's as if the writers think the fact that the other guy was paid to date Julie somehow excused how she treated her boyfriend, which is just ludicrous.

I agree, but it didn't bother me that much. Mostly because the rest of the episode was so well written.

Yeah, other than that I had no complaints, it was fairly good. The mystery was okay. Monk's talk with Julie was good. I liked Natalie refusing to give Monk a wipe at the end. And of course Randy was funny, as always.

Stanley Kamel, the actor who played Dr. Kroger, died a few days ago. I imagine he'll still be in some upcoming episodes probably, but... at some point this will present a problem. I dunno how Monk would deal with losing Dr. Kroger...

Yeah... I remember when Monk went through ALL the stages of grief about three times in five minutes when Kroger threatened to retire! I can hardly imagine how he'd react if he lost Kroger for good!
In all seriousness, though, my condolences to Kamel's family. He'll certainly be missed in the Monk universe!

^ Indeed. It's not going to be the same without him. But if they tried to replace him, would Monk stand for it? Monk = <3 Favorite moments: -When Sharona and Adrian are stuck in the elevator and he keeps pressing the lobby button -When Adrian finds out his favorite wine is made the 'traditional way' by stomping -Sharona refusing to give him a wipe at the circus and telling him to 'Suck it up." -The last half of the episode where Monk is buried alive. That was really heart wrenching to watch him have to leave Trudy again. -Monk's brother in general.

-Monk visiting car bomber in hospital: "This is me turning off your painkiller. This is Trudy turning it back on."
-Monk lunging at shock jock who was making fun of Trudy's death.
-Monk taunting then walking away from Dale the Whale in prison.

-The entire Leperosy episode. That was hilarious. "Yeah I was a leper." -Monk standing an inch away from Dale the whale while he was trying to strangle him -The episode with the actress hired to play trudy to get to Monk
