Probably not. But compared to being a pyro or being able to read minds, it's not really that good. And I am not sure what you mean by "I hope Heroes ACTUALLY TAPES THIS WEEK!!!"

Wow, his father was so fail, I was like Sylar and expected an epic fight or something. It was sort of like a let down to me. Claire helping the Puppeteer was very interesting for me. I doubt that he is changed, but still.

He didn't kill the female agent, even though he said he should have and could have, so I think there's some merit to his wanting to go into hiding (obviously he doesn't want to be rounded up)
Watching Smallville (my other favorite show) I did love how they picked the character who played Lionel Luthor (the father of the hero's arch nemesis) to play Sylar's Father (the father of the hero's arch nemesis), because John Glover does "crazy father" well.

I'm actually kinda glad Sylar meeting his dad (Luther!! xD) was anti-climatic. With all the buildup to reaching him and learning the horrible things he's done, to finally see him like that was... good. Realistic, I guess. But I'm sure this won't be the last we see of him; I'm sure he'll return later with more epic than fancy whistling. Nathan..... wth is going on with Nathan. His actions aside from wanting to keep Claire (and Peter to an extent) safe have been so contradictory. If he has been trying to help/protect those with abilities, what was he thinking with that plane/suit act in season's opening?! I can't wait for this part to be explained.

I think he was thinking about the actions of people like Sylar and Arthur when he started rounding up everyone.

Yeah, but a number of the people Nathan rounded up weren't that dangerous, or at least he knew they were good/could be talked with, like Peter and Matt and Tracy. Unless he was rounding up /everyone/ to put them somewhere safe because something else was brewing against them (in which case why wouldn't he just go and warn them? Let them make up their own minds instead of making the choice for them), I don't understand why he would place them all together like they were all Level 5 villains.
In addition, if he was only thinking of what was best for them, why hire a war hawk like Danko who clearly goes his own lethal way instead of following Nathan's preference of handling things? Sure he needed someone who could get the job done, but if he can't keep him in line then it's not worth the collateral damage. But I guess it's all these convoluted turns that make the plot interesting, if not also irritating. ^^;

While it's always fun to hypothesis about stuff like this, the truth is, Danko was there to function as something that would expose Nathan as a mutant and complicate the plot line. Angela said that people like Danko are useful and expendable, which makes Sylar killing him valid. I think Matt is my favorite hero character, and Sylar is my favorite villain (not quite ready to rope Nathan in with the villains.) Arthur was alright, although he made a lot of dumb mistakes that cost him his power. I'm not quite sure why Sylar didn't cut open Arthur's head and take his powers. (Although I have a feeling the writers though it would put Sylar in god-mod mode.)

By the power of the moon, I will punish you! I revive this thread!
So, in honor of my return to DH, I have descended upon this thread to spread joy and a general giddyness for Season 4.
HERE THAR BE SPOILERS
I, personally, am in love with this season. Gone are the days of OOC badassery from Peter, whiny Claire, characters who die minutes after being introduced, and other such horrors. Now we get real characters in real situations. I must admit that the first 3 episodes have been a tad slow, but I'll take slow pacing over complete crap any day.
I can't wait to see more of Samuel and the rest of the carnival gang. And Emma has managed to become one of my favorite characters despite the fact that she's only been in one episode so far (Somebody who actually likes their power, and isn't dying because of it!). (Almost Obsessively) Heroic Peter, Non-whiny Claire, and Sylar (a.k.a., Mr. IM IN UR MIND, USING UR POWERZ) don't hurt either.
All in all, I'm pumped. What do my fellow survivors of Volume 3 have to say about Season 4?

Know where my body is? And do you have any idea how hard it is to type when you exist as pure thought?

Know where my body is? And do you have any idea how hard it is to type when you exist as pure thought? It can't be that difficult now that you can use the mind-altering abilities of an LA cop on himself.

^The whole situation's a bit reminiscent of Avatar's Day of Black Sun mix-up: people thought that DOBS was going to count as 1 chapter, but it turned out they were 2 separate chapters. It's the other way around for the Season 4 premiere: It was said that the show would premiere with two separate episodes back-to-back, "Orientation" and "Jump, Push, Fall" (In fact, the DirecTV info box for the episode said "Orientation; Jump, Push, Fall"). Instead, there was only one title card, and then next week the title card for "Ink" said "Chapter Two". I can imagine the people over at Heroes Wiki aren't too pleased with the confusion.
